I reckon we've come a long way since then.

Sunnah of Eid
* Wake up early.
* Prepare for personal cleanliness, take care of details of clothing, etc.
* Take a Ghusl (bath) after Fajr.
* Brush your teeth.
* Dress up, putting on best clothes available, whether new or cleaned old ones.
* Use perfume (men only).
* Have breakfast on Eid-al-Fitr before leaving for prayer ground. On Eid-al-Adha, eat breakfast after Salaat or after sacrifice if you are doing a sacrifice.
* Pay Zakaat-al-Fitr before Salaat-al-Eid (on Eid-al-Fitr).
* Go to prayer ground early.
* Offer Salaat-al-Eid in congregation in an open place except when whether is not permitting like rain, snow, etc.
* Use two separate route to and from the prayer ground.
* Recite the following Takbir on the way to Salaat and until the beginning of Salaat-al-Eid:

Oh hey... I missed a spot.
This is one of a series of photos I took of this insanely cute little kitten. I just went out for a walk one day without finding anything that caught my eye, but as I was about to cross the street to my destination I saw this little kitty cat peeking out from the porch of a nearby house. After taking some pictures of him he gradually got more comfortable with me and came out. Cute little kitty.
On August 19, 2017, the Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation conducted a cleanliness drive at Sealdah Railway Station in Kolkata led by Rev Arjan Singh Ji, Zonal Incharge Kolkata and Rev Kuldeep Singh Ji from Delhi. 145 devotees of the Sant Nirankari Mission including 55 women participated in the drive.

... is next to godliness. I spotted this thing this morning and thought it was a cross at first, then realised it's actually some sort of window cleaning cradle.
Nice weather today - fresh and sunny, not too hot. Sat over at the park with Mags and Char again at lunch. Spent much of the day working on my budgets again - think I'm getting there now (with some help from Char).
