3. Cute butterfly partydress. Yet again, my girls doesn't like girly dresses too much... Not sure who made it, but I got it in one of Gina's lucky bags about a year ago. I don't think it's been out of the package.
Plumber talk: The cleanout cracked many years ago and I fixed it with a hose clamp. Had to cut out a bit of the wall for that. It worked okay, but still drips on occasion, so not a permanent fix. The drain to the right of the sani-tee just goes to the sink that's right there. Everything above that in the stack is stink pipe. What that means: the only thing that will be out of commission when working on this will be the sink. The plan is to replace this whole part of the stack, including the drain to the sink. The lower 4' of wall will come out (hopefully, that's all). Don't want any problems behind a new wall.

This was the office. This room was packed. It took about two hours to get everything out and loaded.

While rummaging around the attic it was clear that some things were no longer needed including a box of cans that had been collected over the years. There was nothing special about most but these few brought back some travel memories.
From the Big Cleanout Estate sale, everyone seems to be Deer crazy here and I could not leave him!!!! Into the bag he went.............Poo

It's tiny, but it has the secluded feeling of the woods I grew up in, somehow, and I actually like being back here. I think once I design and build it out with the types of racks I need, and get a little canopy going, maybe with some additional storage space, it'll be a cool spot for drying wood, and maybe for some small spray painting. For the latter bit I would make sure to have the proper shielding connected through filtration to the dust collector inside my workshop.
The seclusion is of course imaginary. The red fence at the back there goes right into a neighbor's back yard, and he's back there often banging away on things. The wood fence to the right seems to be on the edge of another neighbor's driveway, and they have at least 2 little kids who are always running around laughing loudly. The kids in particular can see through the slits between the boards in the fence, and are quite likely to come over to see whatever it is I'm doing back here, so I'll have to keep it all at most PG-rated :)

Day 156 - Time for a cleanout in my bedroom. This has been sitting around for months and I want to sell it. $100, Wellington only, can deliver. It's one of my photos from the American Vehicle Day in 2007, published in NZ Hotrod magazine. Would make a great gift for somebody who loves 1957 Chevrolets!

There were actual walls in this pit. Some of them covered with "marbled" glass tiles. This makes me look at my basement now in an entirely new light.
