There were actual walls in this pit. Some of them covered with "marbled" glass tiles. This makes me look at my basement now in an entirely new light.

When you attempt a complete kitchen cleanout in a house you've lived in for over 20 years, it's shocking what you find. We have cabinets we haven't seen the back of for a decade. And it's giving me a scary insight to a me I never knew I was.

Long overdue attempt to bring order to a chaotic attic. Prompted by a search for a pirate costume that I was sure I put up here just a few years ago. Never found it but I trashed five boxes of useles stuff and took two more to Goodwill.

From the first few photos in the set, you wouldn't have guessed that it would take more than a few days to get this far...
Underground water tunnels have cleanouts every hundred feet. Over time, a pile of dirt surrounds the hole.

I had to take Anna to the vet after work and didn't get home until almost 8pm. It was leftovers or takeout, I choose the least expensive option :)
