My "old" camera (K10d) went to heaven last week.
This picture is taken at a sod production site and shows some very nice constructions blended with long exposures in rough sea.

Not the prettiest photo I've ever taken, but Friday is my "clean the house" day. I was planning on washing the kitchen floor after I vacuumed it, but the power head wasn't picking up much, so I checked it out and discovered it was totally covered in Shizandra's hair. So, I took it apart and cleaned it. I save myself a small fortune by doing this myself. Miele Vacuum power heads are very good and easy to clean! I have since put it back together, vacuumed and washed the kitchen floor. I like to spend my weekends with Stu, so that's why I do my house work on Fridays.

2 axled track cleaning wagon based on a SBB box goods wagon with brakeman’s platform. Have to say, I am pretty surprised by the result. One round on your tracks and they are clean where I believed for years this could not work. Don't know why, was just based on only a negative feeling. A good buy which I can recommand to everyone.

It took 4 swabs to get it 99% clean (3 would have been fine, but I was being OCD about 1 tiny spec). Here is the before and after in full resolution!
Shot with the Tokina 17-35, F14, ISO 800, 1/4s for all shots, around 17-19mm. AWB made the last photo a bit different colored, but you get the point :)
Total end cost to me was about $47, which is less than a typical shop sensor cleaning, and I still have 8 swabs left -- good for another 2 or 3 cleans hopefully!

By waiting a few days, for the clay to completely dry, we get a much cleaner cross-section. At this point, you need a knife to slice the model.

they both hate this. because there's no hair protecting their ears, they get all kinds of gross black crap in the folds of their ears. i think they appreciate it when we get it out for them, but they don't exactly love what we have to do to get it out.
tv crews were coming over, so i cleaned my kitchen (ok. one tv camera and one reporter. no, the piece still has not aired, but i'll let you know.) of course, i hadn't nearly finished by the time they arrived. here: i did, finally, finish, days later.

A remake of a photo I took about two years ago of the very same kitchen just after cleaning it.
Now, after intense renovations earlier last year, it looks very different... and, if you ask me, a lot better. =)
