"The objective of cleaning is not just to clean, but to feel happiness living within that environment."

The first thing to say is that each electronic sensor has a protective filter over it, so we are not actually touching the electronics. That would be a disaster. Most people send the camera off for a service and a clean and that's a very good idea. After all this is an expensive investment and we want to make sure our camera works as well as possible for as long as it can.
But, it is quite easy to clean your sensor at home. All you need is a kit (like the one I've shown). This includes sealed sterile swabs and a little cleaning fluid (they are essential - do not try to clean your sensor with a cloth where you can scratch the dust into the sensor filter). There are also many videos on YouTube showing you how to use these dust cleaning swabs, but provided you get the right size for your camera (mine is full frame) a simple swipe will suffice.
For a DSLR you obviously need to lock your mirror up before the clean, and then lower it immediately afterwards. Then with the other side of the swab give your mirror a quick wipe as well. Do not apply too much pressure. After all, these are only tiny dust particles - you should not have any dirt.
My Leica D-Lux 7 which I used to take these pictures has a fixed lens, so it will never need its micro-four-thirds sensor cleaned.

It seems like everybody who does stop motion does this one. I kinda understand why. Its a good one to start out with.
I really like this because it was my first stop motion. I think stop motion may be my new obsession! But I'm not doing another one until I get a remote.

So I had the pleasure of being with a lovely pair of Grey Wagtails on my Local River, since last time with them I decided next time I would be not only water level but in the water with my lens only a few inches from the flowing river, I placed my seat in the water for it to be only 1 inch below the seating, tripod and lens levelled and carefully placed, I the put over me and the camera equipment a light weight bag hide, this was brilliant because the water flowed through the mesh. so the I could be comfortable then use the tilt screen and shot these images using live view. this worked very well. was able to monitor the bird and move the camera with ease. what a Wonderfull could of hours, the river had risen from a couple of day earlier making it easier as only a couple of rocks were still above the water line.
Thank you for viewing, favouring and comminting.
Had to clean today. Thought it would be a great opportunity to make use of the awesome yellow gloves I found to clean the bathtub.
Had to go with the crazy colors. My hair doesn't seem happy without the colors to match it.

Here’s another one from the Spenser girl “Happy Bath Day” series archives. On second thought, maybe this should be called “Good Clean Sad". :(

Saw this at the parking lot and the pickup truck looked nice against the setting sun. Witjh a 400 mm lens, I could not back up any further to fit the entire truck

"Come Clean"

This is actually the first time I used a guy for one of my conceptual shoots. David was really kind in agreeing to help, despite the weather cooling down and the freezing cold water. THANK YOU DAVIDDDD.
This shoot actually turned out completely different than how I envisioned it. I wondered why it was, until I realized that the way I photograph men and woman are completely different. Would love to explore that side more.
But as for the theme, "Come Clean", in life we make mistakes. That's inevitable. But when we finally admit that we are wrong, the release and the peace of mind is amazing. A release of emotions, of honesty, and of yourself. You can finally see who you are now that all of that dirt in your life is gone. Who knew that you had it in you all along.
Always,
Reylia
At 2017 on Saturday 13th May 2017 we see West Coast Railway Company's 47826 pound up Shap with an ECS working. It is hauling a set of coaches bound for Fort William for the start of the two trains a day on the steam hauled Jacobite service. 47826 is working 5Z13 from Carnforth and will be stabled overnight at Carlisle, before continuing its journey to Fort William the following day as 5Z14. The train is seen here at Greenholme.
Our gracious and heavenly Father, we pause in the midst of this festive occasion, mindful and thoughtful of the guidance that you have given us.
As cowboys, Lord, we don’t ask for any special favors, we ask only that you let us compete in this arena, as in lifes arena. We don’t ask to never break a barrier, or to draw a round of steer that’s hard to throw, or a chute fighting horse, or a bull that is impossible to ride. We only ask that you help us to compete as honest as the horses we ride and in a manner as clean and pure as the wind that blows across this great land of ours.
So when we do make that last ride that is inevitable for us all to make, to that place up there, where the grass is green and lush and stirrup high, and the water runs cool, clear, and deep –
You’ll tell us as we ride in that our entry fees have been paid.
These things we ask – Amen.
