Black-and-white photograph of a woman wearing sunglasses and a dress, relaxing outdoors, Hungary, 1960s.
Elderly man in a suit holding a hat, standing outdoors in front of a rustic Hungarian building, 1960s.
After I posted the previous shot, several Flickr friends asked to see the little sterling silver charms my mother had collected when she was a teenager. Each one is engraved with a friend or loved one's name or initials.
Needless to say, they are precious to me!
The little framed snapshot is one of my favorite pictures of my mom. She looks so young and pretty in this picture. It was taken when she was in her mid-twenties. (I love her 1940's hairdo!) ;-)

The 1949 Ford F-47 is a Canadian-market version of the first-generation Ford F-Series pickup truck, known in the U.S. as the Ford F-1. Here's a detailed look at this classic vehicle:
The F-47 was built and sold exclusively in Canada.
The “47” in the name refers to its gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) in hundredweights—4,700 lbs.
It was part of the Ford Bonus-Built series, the first generation of Ford trucks designed on a dedicated truck chassis, rather than a modified car frame.

This Renaissance portrait, painted between 1515 and 1544, has been attributed either to Alessandro Oliverio or Palma Vecchio — both active in Venice during the early 16th century. The gentleman, sumptuously dressed, holds a letter and a single glove — a detail often rich in symbolism: gallantry, courtship, or perhaps a secret rendezvous. The Marquis de Lacaze once owned this canvas before it was acquired by the city of Bordeaux in 1829.

Housed in a wing of Bordeaux’s Palais Rohan, the Musée des Beaux-Arts offers a rich and refined collection spanning from the Renaissance to the 20th century. From Rubens to Renoir, its galleries celebrate both French masters and European greats — a tranquil yet powerful space where art breathes through centuries of brushwork.

Bianchi Mini Velo 7. "Shes So Charming!"
_08_05, NYC - a. golden, eyewash design, c. 2008
After years of freelance work to "pay the bills", I've decided to go back to university. That's right! I'm going for a MPS in Art Therapy. I'm shooting for Pratt Institute. For more information on the program: www.pratt.edu/creative_arts_therapy
My concentration will be on children. More specifically, those most in need. Those who've suffered the most terribly ---> in other words, the socio & economically disadvantaged, those sexually, emotionally and/or physically abused, the neglected & the abandoned children, as well as children diagnosed with Autism.
Let me know what you think --->
Any constructive criticism is also most welcome! I'm trying to earn my Master's in Art Therapy. BUT, I MUST FIRST take 19 additional undergraduate courses which will qualify my eligibility to apply. I WILL get in!
I firmly believe that together we CAN make a difference.
Thanks, in advance!
