Such a wonderful sight: a beautiful and very well maintained DC-3 in 2017! Samaritan's Purse DC-3 Turboprop is seen here parked at the cargo terminal, being lit by a beautiful sunset light. A very shiny and clean fuselage shows how nicely this DC-3 is kept. Sure, the PT6 turboprops take away most of the classic feeling, but still is an amazing machine. Manufactured in 1945!

Santa Fe SD45-2 5864 led an eastbound stack train underneath the classic ATSF signal bridge at Niota in 1997.
Aided by a Superfleet C40-8W, the Chicago-bound hotshot would blast across the Chillicothe Subdivision in classic fashion.
A classic Porche at Powis Castle. There were quite a few classic cars but this Porche was on it's own so was easier to photograph. Beautiful car.
Beautiful custom 1953 Chevy Bel Air at Hot August Nights. Note the classic window air conditioner on the rear window. Old cars and cruising is more than a hobby in Hispanic culture, it's truly a family affair.

Classic Auto Mall is a world class consignment house located in southeastern Pennsylvania with indoor showroom space for more than 1,000 collectable and special interest vehicles offered for sale.
At one point, catching a pair of J's wasn't all that rare but nowadays, it rarely happens at all, especially when both locomotives still retain the original EJ&E paint.
EJ&E SD38-2's 667 and 660 lead a light engine move as it passes through historical downtown Lemont, Illinois.
I think most blue hour photos of Prague feature the Charles Bridge in some way or other. Mine are no exception, this is my third photo of Prague, and perhaps the most famous view with Prague Castle and the St. Vitus Cathedral on the hill. There are still some more views I would like to photograph on a future visit.

Wie jedes Jahr startet bei uns die Baiersbronn Classic. Ich war seit langem mal wieder mit meiner Spiegelreflexkamera und einem Teleobjektiv unterwegs .. und ja, das ist schon etwas anderes als mit dem iPhone. 😎👍
As every year, the Baiersbronn Classic starts with us. I've been out and about with my SLR camera and a telephoto lens for a long time ... and yes, that's something different than with the iPhone. 😎👍
This is a classic composition that we see pictures everywhere in Waterton. We asked our hotel staff at the Prince of Wales hotel and did some Google research and managed to find a location 5min from the hotel to take this shot.
Linnet Lake which lies in the foreground is probably the smallest lake in the National Park and it becomes a great skating playground in the winter. The prominent peak on the left is Vimy Peak, part of the Lewis Range with Mount Boswell and Mount Cleveland in the background. The body of water on the left is the Middle Waterton Lake which extends south to the Upper Waterton Lake beyond the Alberta and Montana border.
Taken at the end of a walking tour from Volterra to Siena. We finished the week with a 5 mile yomp round Siena which was well worth the effort despite the 30 degree temperatures.
Not many places you can see something like this anymore, a GP9 built in the 50’s leads a caboose and a grain hopper back down from Rockwood. Manitowoc, WI
