I signed up for a 7 week class at A Work of Heart that's doing projects in and inspired by the book "Art at the Speed of Life" by Pam Carriker. This is a close up of one of my 6 pieces from the first class. All 6 pieces are the backgrounds that we'll be using for the projects in the other sessions. I'm really excited to be learning new techniques and letting myself go and be messy - SO not me! And I'm using ORANGE and LIME GREEN!!! Also so not me. So much fun, though.

In March 2015, the first class of JIBC's new Fire Fighting Technologies Certificate (FFTC) completed the practical, hands-on portion of their education and training that provides the necessary certifications to apply for careers in the fire service
