On the circular Train in Yangon

Circular Train in Yangon

A ride on the Circular Train will give you a unique perspective on daily life in the city and the area around it. The station is a grand British colonial building that combines Burmese architectural style with functional Western elements. On the three-hour trip, you'll see the scenery change from city to rural, and pass by ponds, villages and scenes of farm life.

Today’s Daily Shoot assignment is:

Make a photograph of a circular or round object today.

Jk, I didn't lose a lens cap, but I thought it was funny :D Got this photo in the the 11th hour. Actually it's exactly 11. I'm so obsessed with minimalist photography. I don't know why, but I just love how it's an obvious subject with no distractions or competeing subjects. This is my first true low key photo. Figures all it took was a little bit of black felt :D. I'm usually a high key person, but I thought I would try it since, I have no idea how I would light this from behind.

I figured out why photographers have such rotten luck. I used 2 unbrellas on this shot(indoors). and no they aren't 'pro' unbrellas. There was a floral green one and a transparent pink. This was all I could find and no, they aren't mine :P. The only thing I'm not crazy about in this shot is the blemish on my 24-105 lens surround. I know, it's now all you can look at. me too. I did want this to be SOOC(straight out of camera) since it was so prfect in a technical sense. I thought about posting setup photos and if you want to see how the photo was taken, let me know and I'll post up a photo :D.

Compliments, comments and critiques are always welcome. Enjoy!
