I was taking shots for the science blog of a waste computer that I'm trying hack into a wall lamp (don't ask), and while this wasn't what I was going for I thought I'd share it here.

Crowds of people walk in as Circuit City beings liquidation sale at "The City" on Broad at Gaskins. The headquarters is merely two blocks from this location.

Kawasaki P-1 number 5503 flying continuous circuits at this almost deserted airbase. Just a couple of P-3 Orion aircraft were noted on the ramp.

Circuit boards! A key component of electronic waste, circuit boards are often difficult to disassemble, therefore it is difficult to harvest materials such as plastics and metals from them. When designing products, companies need to think more about end-of-life dis-assembly processes for recycling. More and more progress is being made, try Googling "product design for recyclability" to find out more!

Boards for the PlanEx lighting. This is an Arduino pro mini with a transistor breakout to 7 channels for driving LED banks up to 500mA per channel.

Legends racing car, seen at Knockhill Racing Circuit, Scotland. These cars, created by 600 Racing Inc. of North Carolina, are 5/8 scale replicas of a 1930s Ford or Chevrolet sedans or coupes. They run with a 125bhp Yamaha motorcycle engine.
