Repurposed in 1930. Returned to the Russian Orthodox Church c 2000 (uncertain of this statement). During our walk-by we observed that the grounds were still being used for farm operations.

In the 20th century Chicago architecture giant Louis Sullivan only worked sporadically. The Holy Trinity Orthodox Cathedral located at 2521 North Leavitt in Chicago’s north side Ukranian Village neighborhood is one of those later commissions. Romanesque Detail on Church Portal, Collegiata, San Quirico d'Orcia, Tuscany. The four narrow columms are linked by the stone knot, all carved from one block of stone, as far as I could tell. I think this is a lioness because there is a reclining lion around the corner.
