In 1749 the royal house of Oldenborg celebrated the tercentenary of ruling the Country and to mark this occasion King Frederik V (1723-1766 - ruled Denmark and Norway 1746-1766) decided to build a church in the new town in honour of God and the absolute monarchy. Both the church and town were named after him - Frederiks Kirke and Frederiksstad. The master planner and builder of Frederiksstad was the King’s leading court architect Nicolai Eigtved - who also was the architect of the Marble Church.
Can I drive myself there? Can it be true though I know false? Can I walk through walls I built myself between us both?
Sometimes death is the easy way out, but I'm not one for easy things. Who cares if nobody is going to make numbers meet. I judge the judge of my own judgement on the final day.
I'm not scare, I don't care, I face the storm standing up and bare, I'll forget my own name but my ground belongs to nobody else.
I used to live here but I'n not anymore.

Toyahvale, Texas. The first records of the Mission Mary were from 1902. Father Nicholas Brocardus served the Mission and 40 other Trans-Pecos Missions. Situated in Reeves County, the adobe walls were plastered in the 1940s but as people moved away from the area, it was abandoned and a church in Brogado became the main parish.
Since 2003, a group called the Calera Foundation has been working to reconstruct both the Mission Mary and its history. This is one beautiful little white church complete with traditional Spanish architecture in the middle of the West Texas desert.

Liège Cathedral, otherwise St. Paul's Cathedral, Liège, in Liège, Belgium, is the seat of the Bishopric of Liège. During the French Revolution the ancient cathedral of Liège, St. Lambert's Cathedral, was destroyed systematically, from 1794 onwards. After the revolutionary fervour had evaporated a new cathedral was needed. The ancient collegiate church of St. Paul's was thought suitable for the purpose and was elevated in rank, before 1812. This is the present Liège Cathedral.

It's Saint-Paul's Cathedral that houses today the Treasury of Saint-Lambert's Cathedral. Like most of the religious buildings of this size, Saint Paul's has undergone various refurbishments and reconstructions since it was first built in around 1230 - the last addition was an additional floor in the tower in the 19th century which is an imitation of that of Saint-Lambert. The Treasury in the 15th century cloisters houses many treasures including the famous "Reliquary of Charles the Bold" (around 1467), the famous bust-reliquary of Saint-Lambert (around 1512) and the Meuse ivory of the Three Resurrections.
