Der Chrysler PT-Cruiser ist ein PKW-Modell des deutsch-US-amerikanischen Herstellers DaimlerChrysler, das erstmals im Jahr 2000 präsentiert wurde.
Das Kürzel PT steht für „Personal Transportation“ (Personentransport). Das Auto besitzt einen Frontantrieb und ist für fünf Personen zugelassen. Im Jahr 2004 folgte das Chrysler PT Cruiser Cabriolet.

On an early morning sortie to Havant to get the right light for photography and beat the heat, I saw this 2002 Chrysler PT Cruiser which I think can reasonably be described as distinctive.
When the PT Cruiser was launched in 2000/1, I was, for a while, obsessed with it. Then my passion cooled and the type is no longer common in the UK although 1.35m were manufactured worldwide.
