The Chrysler PT Cruiser is a retro-styled compact car that was manufactured and marketed internationally by Chrysler in 5-door hatchback wagon (2001–2010) and 2-door convertible (2005–2008) body styles—over a single generation, with an intermediate face lift for model year 2006.

The Chrysler PT Cruiser is a retro-styled compact car manufactured and marketed internationally by Chrysler in 5-door hatchback wagon (2001–2010) and 2-door convertible (2005–2008) body styles—over a single generation, with an intermediate facelift for model year 2006.
Evoking 1930s styling, the exterior of the PT Cruiser was designed by Bryan Nesbitt. Interior packaging was noted for its high-roof, high h-point seating, and flexible cargo and passenger configurations enabled by a multi-level rear cargo shelf and rear seats a user could fold, tumble, or remove.
By the end of production in July 2010, worldwide production had reached 1.35 million. Originally planned as a Plymouth model, The PT Cruiser was ultimately marketed as a Chrysler when Plymouth was discontinued. In its nameplate, PT stands for "Personal Transport" or "Personal Transportation". PT was the PT Cruiser's product code.
This Chrysler PT Cruiser is just up the street from my house. A sight to behold on South 19th Street in Quincy, Illinois in Adams County.
I'm guessing that this is a conversion from a normal PT Cruiser car rather than a genuine Chrysler Panel Cruiser. Either way it is a great looking vehicle.
The Chrysler PT Cruiser with its retro styling was in production from 2000 until 2010. I think that the PT Panel Cruiser was only made as a concept vehicle. There was an attractive convertible model made for a few years. PT was a reference to Plymouth Trucks, as this model was originally going to be marketed under the Plymouth brand name.

This is it... your uncle's old car. It smells kind of funny and makes loud noises when it starts up, but it still runs!

It’s an example of the initial pre-facelift style (2001-2005)
The side view suggests that rear seat headroom was quite ample.

With a light wind in the air and temps in the high 50s On Saturday evening Nov 26th ,2022, Hazzard Range county officials ,residents and visitors gathered at Government Center Park in Sparta, for the community Christmas tree lighting.
Local Resident and retired county Sheriff ( 1970-1982 ) Joe King Sr was given the honor of turning on the lights for the first time. This Year's lighting ceremony included Christmas music provided by KRTK radio , refreshments and Santa Claus.

In 2016, I was back to the Xi'an used car in West Xi'an mainly to see a beautiful old Citroën CX.
Early 2016 I saw some post on Weibo about this CX in this second-hand car market in Xi'an, that I visited in 2015.
Sadly the CX was already sold ...
But I saw this interesting pre-facelift Chrysler PT Cruiser with a woody kit.
Very first time I saw one with this kit.
This Flashback takes us to late February 2013 day . We see a woman Jogging by Hazzard Range County Sheriff’s office Sergeant Dolly King unit . She is still with the Sheriff’s office as Lieutenant .
Scene takes place in Government center park next to the County government center in the county seat of Sparta .

Forks is made up of three ( Fork , Middle Fork and Top Fork ) little cluster of homes and businesses that form Forks In 1987 they consolidated to Form Forks with a total population of about 699 on the banks of Forks creek .Most part of the canyon they set in is home to small farms and ranches in the surrounding desert .All three Villages set in Forks Creeks Canyon along the Forks Creek in Apache County NM , just over the County Line from Hazzard Range County. Also all three are served by a joint Village Commission that has three Commissioners Forks Police Department ( FPD) has a budget of 5 officers including the Chief.

An American classic! I encountered this 2005 Chrysler PT Cruiser Cabriolet along the Nieuwemeerdijk in Badhoevedorp.

The Chrysler PT Cruiser is a front-engine, front-wheel drive, compact crossover SUV manufactured and marketed internationally by Chrysler in 4-door hatchback wagon (2001–2010) and 2-door convertible (2005–2008) body styles—over a single generation, with an intermediate facelift for model year 2006.
Noted for its exterior recalling styling from the 1930s, the PT Cruiser was designed by Bryan Nesbitt. The interior packaging was noted for its high-roof, high h-point seating, and flexible cargo and passenger configurations—a multi-level cargo shelf as well as a fold, tumble, and removable rear seating.
By the end of production in July 2010, worldwide production had reached 1.35 million. PT stands for "Plymouth Truck"; it was named so as the car was originally planned as a Plymouth.
The final PT Cruiser built rolled off the assembly line there on July 9, 2010. In all, a grand total of 1,050,281 PT Cruisers were sold in the United States.

On this, Easter Sunday April 9th ,2023 ,we see many Hope church congregation Sunday service lets outs one of many in crowd are former county sheriff ( 2011 -2014 ) and Local rancher Travis Martin and his daughter Samantha “ Sam “ both next to flatbed truck .Sam is using crutches after accident about week ago .
We also see Hazzard Range Sheriff’s office Deputy Miles Gallegos on patrol .Hope Church is one of oldest church buildings in the county,It dates back late in the 1890s and has been in this location since 1900 at the corner of 1st and Dallas Av in the county seat of Sparta . There are two older Church buildings that are Catholic. One located in Fort Hazzard ( built in 1880s ) and in Mars ( built in 1899 and No Regular masses ) both are census designated communities . There is also one that has long been abandoned next to Valley View cemetery that was built sometime in the 1870s and might be the oldest building in the county .
With second of few storm systems moving through NM, on this Wet Thanksgiving 2019 . We see Hazzard Range County Sheriff’s office School Resource Deputy Lance Mead headed into Blue’s cafe in Sparta the county seat ,to get some lunch ,before continuing his shift .
With Schools on Thanksgiving break the Sheriff’s office three School Resource Deputies are working some of week on on patrol duty . With Snow in mts and rain in lowlands since yesterday afternoon . The extra help is welcome to the deputies and State police officers who normally work these shifts .

As the sun comes up on this January 1st ,2020 .We see Hazzard Range County Sheriff’s Office Lieutenant Bubba Sanchez walking back to his unit out front of the county government center ( sheriff's office located on first floor )to drop some paperwork off . His next stop is county public works yard to drop trailer off, then he is headed home for well deserved sleep .
He spent the night ( New Years Eve ) working a DWI checkpoint with NM State police officers and in the livestock trailer is traffic cones and signs that was used at the checkpoint .
