This is another paper creation in a jewelers shop window @ Chopard's New Bond Street in Mayfair London. They are quite small but i guess jewelers are good at making small things. This will become another of my Christmas card photo's. Although there was not much colour in the scene i used selective colour for the eyes and the rest was a combination of infra red and black and white using Ipiccy....
First try to make a good product shot of this "reflection parade" bottle. The diamond shape and the shiny silver cap of the bottle plus the white and silver text on the package box were a real challenge. I'm not satisfied with the result, because there are a lot of reflections in the cap and glass, but for a small webshop image it is ok.
The very small workspace (1x2meter) I have is not optimal for this kind of setups.
Any ideas to get a better result are welcome in the comment box!

In post-edit I did some hi light and contrast corrections.

This car took part in the Chopard HGPCA 100-Mile Grand Prix Car Race at the Coys International Historic Festival meeting at Silverstone in July 1994. It's Thomas Bscher's 1957 Maserati 250F V12, a car built with a 2,491cc V12 engine instead of the 250F's usual 6-cylinder inline 2,490 unit. It's chassis 2531 and is one of only 2 cars specifically built to take the V12 engine, and the only one to take part in a World Championship race. It was entered for the 1957 Italian Grand Prix and driven by Jean Behra, but retired towards the end of the race with overheating problems. When Maserati disbanded the team at the end of the 1957 season the engine was removed from the car, which was sold to Brazilian Antonio de Barros who installed a V8 Chevrolet engine and raced it till the mid-1960s. It was eventually rescued by Colin Crabbe and restored by Stephen Griswold with the 3 litre V12 engine from a Maserati T63 sports car. The programme of this Silverstone meeting shows the engine capacity of the car to be 2,500cc, but I can't find anything that says it's been reunited with the correct V12 engine.

Ein Kollektiv von Ingieneuren und Kfz-Meistern hatte in Berlin-Johannistal Anfang der 50er-Jahre begonnen Rennfahrzeuge zu entwickeln, die erstmals 1951 in der DDR an den Start gingen.
Ende 1952 wurde die Rennkollektiv EMW nach Eisenach verlegt. Ein neuer Sechszylinder wurde 1955 zur Sensation: zwei obenliegende Nockenwellen, Doppelzündung, drei weber-Doppelvergaser, Leistung 135 bis 140 PS bei 7.200 U/min.
Edi Barth und Paul Thiel feierten im Eifelrennen am Nürburgring einen EWM-Doppelsieg.
1956 wurde EWM auf AWE (Automobil-Werk Eisenach) umbenannt. Beim ersten Start im westlichen Ausland gelang es Barth / Rosenhammer in Montlhery die Sportwagenklasse bis 2 Liter vor Porsche zu gewinnen. Im Winter 1956/57 stellte AWE die Rennen ein. Das Auto stammt aus der Sammlung von Walter Degelsegger.

1942 in Paris geboren, begann er 1965 mit einem Lotus Seven seine Rennfahrer-Karriere, die 1969 einen Riss bekam. als er mit einem Matra bei einer Testfahrt in Le Mans schwer verunglückte. Der Wagen explodierte, Henry rettete sich als lebende Fackel in den Wald, ein Zuschauer erstickte seine Flammen.
In seine 57 Formel 1 Grand Prix war der dritte Platz 1970 in Monaco auf Matra das Highlight. Er startete 33 Mal in Le Mans, viermal wurde er Gesamtsieger: 1972, 73, 74 und 85. 1987 flog er mit einer Lookheed in 88 Stunden 49 Minuten um die Welt, womit Howard Hughes Rekord von 1938 gebrochen war. Henry ist ein Racer, den man bewundern muss: mit seinem privaten Pescarolo Sport-Team duellierte er sich auch 2008 in der Le Mans-Serie mit Audi und Peugeot.

A couple of days ago, we saw Karl-Friedrich Scheufele, the co-President of Chopard watches, in his Ferrari Monza in the 2013 Mille Miglia.
Well, now here's Papa Scheufele (Karl)...he bought the company from Paul Andre Chopard in 1963...blasting his 1955 Mercedes gullwing out of Brescia on the first day of the 2013 MM.
