If I never read Jan Chipchase's blog I probably would have never noticed this.

 

What floor is the elevator on?

My initial thought was that it was on the 12th, going up. Then I remembered I was visiting someone who lived on the top floor--the 8th.

 

Two elevators; one on the first and one on the second going up. Is there a better way to display this?
