I had a shoot today with a fantastic musician known as Chip Switzer. His music is a very real and very honest sound and he was a complete charm to work with.
Chips, Boquerones, Piquillo, Jalepeno ($9) - a crowd favourite and restaurant “signature” composed of fresh marinated white anchovies, house made chips, sweet peppers and pickled jalepenos.
Simple, nice balance and great. Really pretty against the plates (which might be harder to appreciate in the dim red glow of the rear dining space).
Chip and Dale dancing to the firehouse band. I was hugely impressed at how well these two could move in the suits, considering that they probably can't see much and have those giant bottom legs to deal with.

these are the native children i was with for bout a week, this thing they all do is dip their ketchup chips into little packets of Philly cream cheese and they'd finish 2 or three each pack of chips its very odd
Regular chips at Bilby's in Claremont. It was actually piled up higher than this, but we ate a bunch of them before I got my camera out.

Typically you'd think it was the gulls that would be swooping down to pilfer your chips, but the chief chip thieves is Skegness are actually a flock of starlings.
As it wasn't very busy with not many people sat out eating, they all crowded round waiting for the opportunity to nab a chip or two. One even flew up almost into my face and attempted to take a chip out of the tray as I was holding it! But they were mostly quite polite, sitting and hopping around, and eating from your hand if you let them. They were less chip thieves and more like chip scavengers, actually.
This guy had some ice cream or something smudged on his front.

Ben and Jerry's was giving out free ice-cream cones today and I must admit they were amazing. As my friends and I were savoring the delicious ice-creams I noticed this cute lil girl who was having a great time with her choco-chip brownie ice-cream.
I tried taking a candid picture after asking her father, but the moment she realized that she was being focused, she tried to give her best pose and a small dance =)
PS: The choco-chip brownie was delicious and so were the other 2 I tried ;)
