I can't tell why, but there's something fascinating about metal chips. Aluminum (MIC6 in this case) chips nicely, and the light flakes end up *everywhere.* For some reason my dog likes to eat them, so it requires me to be pretty vigilant about cleanup after any milling.

We discovered these potato chips while in Croatia. They were so good, we went thru 4 bags while on our trip. I brought the bags home and made these from them!

Wish the pupils were bigger, but I was trying to be different. Polly is a Factory Girl Lilac (I think). I wasn't too fired up when I got her, so I thought what the heck, and started taking her apart. The most I've ever done before is change eye chips. This time I did a mohair re-root, sanded and repainted her face, lips and eyes, and made all the eye chips myself! She is wearing a toile dress and bow by Dolly Molly and vintage Barbie boots. Blogged about at bly-me.blogspot.com.
