As much as Iove the idea of the new App-Controlled Batmobile (Set 76112) It just doesn't look like a Batmobile. Not really. Which meant it was the perfect oppurtunity to MOC it up.

So, using the 1989 Batmobile as inspiration, I present - The Chibi Batmobile.

And yes, it's a lot of fun to drive.

Not going to make this a contest entry, but I kind of wanted to do this since the beginning of the contest, just wasn't sure how.

I LOVE these cute faceplates!

It was so much fun painting these. Makes me want a Chibi Unoa of my own one day. ^___^

I've not really messed with Chibi-fying anything; hopefully this is semi-passable.

Pretty obvious inspiration for this one.

My first attempt at building something in Chibi style, I hope I get it right. I have been inspired from an interesting article on Bricknerd.

A long time ago, I ordered through Bricklink a Lego Vader helmet from that old 2002 Technic set.

Back then, I wanted to build some sort of cool, stylized figure, but for some reason, what I came up with was some weird Bionicle/Star Wars/Space Balls crossover MOC.

So a few years later, I decided to "revamp" it and create something a bit more presentable; here's the result.

Besides the Vader helmet, other notable unusual parts used here are this Aquazone cockpit piece (pretty much a filler piece for the head which gives a nice angular look) and a Lego Sports hockey chestplate.

I came up with other ideas for the facemask, but I ultimately decided to go for something extremely similar to the techniques used in the original 2002 set. It works, I guess.

The tablescraps just keep on coming.

I feel like someone's already done one of these before maybe? Microfighters are so ADDICTIVE!!

Madoka Magica is a anime in 2011, yes already 4 years ago. Recently I watched the OVA and then I thought that whether I could build them in chibi scale. Finally I spent one week and finished them :D

Welcome home Chibi-haru!!

I wanted a squishy Batmobile.

So I took 8664 and put it in the chibi-o-matic.

I didn't want to make it super deformed, but it was definitely fun compressing it a bit.
