This is directly across the street from my building. As is a Starbucks. And like most Starbucks, I think it's there to taunt me and take all my money. So, I've made up a project for myself: If I go I must also bring my camera and find something interesting to shoot along the way.

This looks like a Song Sparrow (Melospiza melodia), or it could be a Lincoln's Sparrow (Melospiza lincolnii), in the Woodend Nature Sanctuary, in Chevy Chase, MD. Can anyone confirm?
Enjoying the cherry blossoms (and magnolias in bloom) in Kenwood, Bethesda, MD.
The neighborhood has about 1200 cherry trees and, while full of people, is much less crowded than the Tidal Basin in Washington, DC.
