Landshark t-shirt featuring the legendary Saturday Night Live sketch first seen in the very first season in the mid-1970s. As if opening the door to Chevy Chase wasn't scarey enough, the landshark leaves no victim intact!
A little row of business in the Chevy Chase Neighorhood in DC. Somehow, these strike me as being from an era that is slipping away.
From a series at EV-2, this exposure at ISO 1600 has acceptable noise. The color is a bit more saturated than it was to my eye.
The other image, at ISO 3200 is OK, but noise is noticeable. I'd be confident at ISO 1600 and almost as confident at ISO 3200. Maybe the noise issues could probably be addressed in post. Higher ISO images were still fairly impressive, compared to my older cameras.
But if one enlarges the lowest ISO image in the series (100) the difference is obvious.

"There's No Way Like the American Way" billboard above the American City Diner, at 5532 Connecticut Avenue NW, in Chevy Chase, DC. I should have used the flash to brighten up the lower part of the sign.
Read the yellow sign.
Their neighbor has an Obama sign just a few feet away.
I bet they have interesting conversations.
p.s. Hello there.

The Chevy Chase Arcade at 5520 Connecticut Avenue NW (Louis L. Moss, 1925) is one of the few remaining true shopping arcades in the region. My wife is walking away from the camera, disappointed that the yarn store there had gone out of business (or moved).
Enjoying the cherry blossoms (and magnolias in bloom) in Kenwood, Bethesda, MD.
The neighborhood has about 1200 cherry trees and, while full of people, is much less crowded than the Tidal Basin in Washington, DC.
