ISO test for class
This EV-2 at ISO 3200 has noise that is perhaps still acceptable, when enlarged more than possible here.
The higher ISOs struggle, and with two more stops, at 12,800, it loses color quality and the grain is obvious.

Nevertheless, that is a very high ISO. The shutter is almost fast enough to hand hold. I would try it in certain instances, when color isn't as important.
One of the artists I find especially interesting is Jeanine Michna-Bales Through Darkness to Light, retracing locations on the Underground Railroad. It is a great example of how one can adapt a popular photographic technique to a meaningful work. In her case this was based on significant research.

i was sitting here processing pics, and one of my all time movies just came on hbo, "foul play." when i was eight, my dad took to me a double feature of this movie with "grease." this was where my love of barry manilow was cemented.
