This Chevrolet Tahoe is owned by the Delaware State Police. Here it's parked in Hudson, Massachusetts for the funeral services of Trooper Thomas Clardy of the Massachusetts State Police. Trooper Clardy was killed in the line of duty when his patrol vehicle was struck from behind while on a traffic stop.

I photographed this USDA United States Forest Service 2015-2019 Chevrolet Tahoe in Carson City, NV. Note the twin siren speakers in front. This K9 unit has alot more ground clearance than most other Tahoe's so it either has GM's Z71 off-road package or a suspension lift kit. I usually detest clear LED lightbars but this one with the blacked out top looks quite good.

This marked Chevrolet Tahoe owned by the F.B.I. was spotted in Washington D.C. during Police Week 2014.
1999 would be the final year for the 2-door Tahoe, as the new generation for 2000 would be 4-door only. The shorter 2-door (188" length and 111.5" wheelbase) had declining sales during the 1990s and was the last 2-door full size SUV since the Ford Bronco was dropped in 1996. The 1999 Tahoe production run began early in 1998, with the new 2000 models coming in 1999.
