Seen at World of Wheels - Chicago 2010. Whole bunch of Topaz on top of HDR processed in Dynamic Photo HDR.

What's the use of having a Dream Car garage and not having at least one cop car in it. I'll start by adding this to my imaginary collection...
another "Dream Garage" CarArt product made from a internet image. Used as a background on my tablet and laptop...and shared with co-workers..
3 images (-2.0, 0.0, 2.0 ) merged in CS3 HDR and more processing using topaz plug ins and several layers of color..

Four fans for the No. 4 Corvette, ya right. But I needed a title for this panning shot from outside the Inner Loop. I do prefer the 3 car but wait, there's a 3 there! Oh.....P3.
Good friend of mine own's this seriously sweet Camaro. He spent last 4 years lovingly putting this together. Knows every nut and bolt. Just a great and very fast Muscle car!!
This is my friend Brian and his 75 Vette. I sneaked a pic (he's camera shy) while shooting a couple of other rides as we were leaving car show today..
Been a long time since I've ridden in a cool bow tie with T- tops to boot. Two handsome guys in a Corvette..look out ladies!!!

A newcomer to last years weekly cruise nite. I have yet to meet the owner and try to arrange a photo-shoot where I can really show off the beauty of the great ride...can't wait for spring...
from the car image archives...this is non-traditional HDR. work flow was : 1 exp (0.0), 1 exp (-.5 ) processed in ReDynaMix for HDR jpg, Then that went into CS3 for dodge, burn , and add 1 layer of unsharp mask. I only recall all this because I also saw the raw HDR jpg right next to this in the folder..
My thanks to everyone, you all have given me such a kind response to my stuff posted from this back up drive, so I'll keep posting ...

For Gary "the Pentax Hammer"..full shot of very nice Nomad from a car show shot. Didn't really like overall processing and ghosting it at first , and was going to dig in and work some more,but ya know what the hay, it's a GR8T looking ride so posted as is.
It was for sale too...think 100k plus!
There are many legendary engines, but some just stand out more than others for me.

Between 1971 and 1977 Chevy produced close to 2 million Vegas (1,966,157 according to Wikipedia). It was named Motor Trend Car of the Year in 1971 and was praised as a new standard bearer for Detroit automotive manufacturers. Then over the years numerous engine and rust problems plagued the brand and it quickly became a recall nightmare for GM.
I found this one sitting all in a local parts yard and was amazed that it was in condition to be restored , not scrapped. It also made me think back to a time when these were everywhere and that it had been at least a decade since I've seen one. Isn't it amazing that almost 2 million of these have virtually disappeared?
Another great Vette from the archives. I was gonna do some CarArt stuff to this , but decided just to post as I found it. I just thought it deserved to be seen as the owner drives it. Single raw ran thru CS3 to denoise and reduce harsh highlights off the windshield

Saw this at a recent car show and spent some time with the owner. I had never heard of these special edition trucks and surely had no idea of how much great engineering went into them and how bad ass there are.

Just one of the reason I love cars shows is that you just never know what you'll see. This ride is owned by a 23 yr old young lady and has been turning the states at a number of major indoor and outdoor events. She is gaining sponsors continuously and been featured many times in magazines. I actually never talked to her, me and her dad talked muscles cars for a long time. Go figure....

Print and T-shirt art for one of our local cruise nite regulars. The old hot rod saying, " great cars come with great owners" never fails and in this case the owner is one terrific human being. Sorry about the watermark in the image , but it seems that I have been hit by unauthorized use of my images (again!).

For use with C5 Corvette mechanicals. Carlsson is a German "tuner" company specializing in Mercedes Benz cars. There is a Carlsson nameplate & logo on the hood of this vehicle but I doubt there is any relationship to the German company. Factory Five designed, builds, and markets the kit, said to be "The fastest car you can build in your garage".
