Back to 2014 with some neat afternoon light in turn 9. Some old curbing and old pavement too. The full track repaving project was started in 2015 following the NASCAR Sprint Cup race by race winner Joey Logano who tore out the first chunks of old pavement with an excavator.

this Joker themed show car used to make the local car show and cruise nite circuit a few years ago...I have not seen lately and wonder if it has been sold...hope not, want to take more pics of it.

This never really worked out as a laptop or tablet background image due to dimensions. But was able to print, frame and give to a relative who is a Corvette freak....
another edit of an low res internet image.. That was made into 3 images (-1.5, 0.0, 1.5) then merged via CS3 HDR and finished with playing with Topaz plug ins...

CarArt made from an Internet image. 3 jpegs ( -2.5 , 0.0 , +2.5) made into HDR in CS3. Then hit with some Topaz effects.
another "Dream Garage" CarArt product made from a internet image. Used as a background on my tablet and laptop...and shared with co-workers
4 images (-1.5, -.5, 0.0, .5, 1.5) processed in CS3 HDR, then finished with noise reduction and topaz plugins

I didn't like this shot when I looked at it in archives, thought the crop was way too close. It I was gonna use it, it would be for some high key carart.
But after converting to BW and looking at the total scene, I've now changed my mind.Some what looks like a real retro scene to me.. bad crop and all...lol
