The Chengdu Panda Sanctuary was founded in 1987, with six giant pandas rescued from the wild. Today the captive population has increased to over a hundred from that founding population of only six.
Central Chinese City of Chengdu. Didn't take many pictures there but we did have a wonderful few days there. I remember we stayed at the Traffic Hotel which was next to a river.
I also think it was here we watched the Third Harry Potter film because it got really cold.
But it was a good place to visit and we made a friend there and she took us to some nice places.
