Several chemistry tubes made from transparent glass filled either with water or blue and red substances. Some of the recipients have white gradations used for measuring the quantities. They are on a reflective white surface.

I think that to find that mutual chemistry is hard, and actually happens to select people. That’s why the divorce rate is high and people who are actually happy together is low. That’s why people go through each other’s phones (or social media) & have trust issues. Love is trust. And when you are loved you can feel loved. You can feel it the same way you feel your favorite poem or a song.

**and no one can ever go through my phone. i really feel it’s a violation of privacy. Even my mom can’t do that even though I never have any secrets from her. Once in high school she read my diary, the second i found out it went into the garbage. I had nothing there that wouldn’t tell her myself but it was just the idea of her looking through it. Even my texts with girlfriends such as “hi, how are you ?” are private.*** I am a firm believer that there’s should be a part of a person that’s private whether it’s a diary or a phone. For the same reason I would never touch the phone of a significant other. Every person deserves a privacy. Someone might say what if another person does or looks at something he/she not suppose to ... what if he / she does that on the street or at workplace ?!! Or at the beach ?

The bromillian tartenate crystals that Edgar received on ebay were the last ingredient needed to achieve the compound necessary to control Sheba, his Pembroke Welsh Corgi.

Now, if only he could get her to lap it up..........

A very special place for me. This lock is on the Shropshire Union Canal at Chester. It was special because in my early teens I was mad on Fishing, Football, and Steam Locos. In fact, that has never changed. But on most Sundays we fished this length of the Shroppie and just behind that Lock House was Chester Engine Sheds, and you could see all the Steam Engines. It was a magical place, sadly a housing estate stands on the site of the old sheds and the fishing here has taken a bit of battering over the years. Happy Days

"Chemistry" was a massive 30 metre wall on the side of a pharmacy in the far eastern suburbs of Melbourne completed as a collaboration by local duo "Sirum" and "DVATE".

The hereios of the We're Here! group have paid a visit to the Everyone-hates-studying group today, at the suggestion of Joyce Latham.

I haven't done any studying for a pretty long time. It's true that sometimes one does hate studying as it can be hard going. But one loves it too as it can be very rewarding.

This is a page from a chemistry exercise book on the preparation of acetaldehyde. I did this at school and then again at college when I was training to be a teacher. I must say that it all seemed much clearer the second time around - mind you I don't think that this particular piece of knowledge has been all that useful over the intervening years :)

I basically read this in one sitting - couldn't put it down, didn't want it to end. Loved it.

All The Kings Men is a drag king troupe based in Boston. They graced Toronto with their presence during the 2008 Pride. Great show, very funny and dynamic.

The chemistry they have on stage is really great. Friendly people.

File name: Chemistry

Title: Chemistry

Creator/Contributor: Puvis de Chavannes, Pierre, 1824-1898 (artist); Boston Public Library (sponsor); Lanzel, Sheryl (photographer)

Genre: Paintings; Murals

Date created: 1893-1896 (approximate)

Physical description: 1 painting : mural, oil on canvas ; visible image 14 x 7 feet

Physical description notes: Canvases completed in Puvis' studio in Paris and shipped over to Boston for installation in 1895-96. Canvas applied to the walls of the grand staircase gallery using an adhesive technique called marouflage. The artist used encaustic wax in the painting process to make the surface appear matte and more fresco-like.

Summary/Abstract: In this panel representing Chemistry (mineral, organic, vegetable), a fairy waves her wand over a flaming substance undergoing ""mysterious change"" as three spirits look on.

General notes: Title from Description of the Decorative Paintings by Pierre Puvis de Chavannes.

Date notes: On May 25, 1893, the Trustees of the BPL contracted Pierre Puvis de Chavannes for mural work completed between 1893 and 1896. As the aging artist was reluctant to travel to Boston, he painted the panels on canvas in his Neuilly studio in France. The panels were then shipped over to the library; installation was completed in 1896.

The Mad Scientists of Etsy set a challenge to its members to create on the theme of "organic chemistry", or the chemistry of molecules based on carbon, hydrogen and a few other elements. Carbon atoms can form four bonds and organic compounds are described by their very shape- it's all about geometry! One thing they can do is form hexagons with five other carbon atoms. Complexity grows and groups of these hexagonal structures can be strung together.

Some scientists think that when two people have "chemistry" it is quite literally chemical. Information is exchanged by pheromones - organic compounds produced by the body and 'read' by the nose. This print shows a man and a woman smelling each other's sex pheromones - estratetraenol and androstadienone, respectively.

Reality is undoubtedly more complex than this simple exchange of molecules- but the print illustrates part of the fun side of organic chemistry.

The reverse image was carved in linoleum. The molecules are in turquoise and the profiles are in yellow, environmentally-friendly water-based inks. They are printed on handmade Japanese kozo (or mulberry) paper. The edition is limited to 20 hand-pulled prints.

I stole a set of goggles from the cabinet in chem and although I think the teacher noticed I think she just let me get away with it because Pikachu looks excited to do work- which never happens in that class. XD

short stories set in the rural south...a good writer

These days Chemistry is unfortunately all my world...

Solo la morte m'ha portato in collina

un corpo fra i tanti a dar fosforo all'aria

vuoi che uscite all'amore che cedete all'aprile.

Fui chimico e, no, non mi volli sposare.

Non sapevo con chi e chi avrei generato:

Son morto in un esperimento sbagliato

proprio come gli idioti che muoion d'amore.

E qualcuno dirà che c'è un modo migliore.
