This is how you can get a cold brew drip coffee, the very top is filled with ice, the middle section is packed with coffee, the ice melts and drips through the coffee runs through the coil and into the bottom beaker, the end a perfect mellow cold brew coffee.
A perfect evening, on the edge of sunset and blue hour.
During daytime, I've noticed this building because of the writing "Chemistry". But honestly, it looked as just another restored storage house near the railway station.
In the evening however, parking the car nearby, I noticed a pink haze somewhere.
On my camera, I still had an ND-filter I use to emphasize the clouds. And there it is: Oh, no, there's no use of Photoshop. Only Lightroom: emphasizing a bit of clarity and texture (no extra saturation).
All of my pictures are made without the use of AI or far-reaching Photoshop manipulations: WISIWYG (What I See Is What You Get) using only Lightroom.

Crane and shaft were built in 1911 and lead deep down to the Hydro Power Plant.
this is a shot from a few weeks ago. it was taken at the new science city being constucted for newcastle university on the site of the old newcastle breweries there is a number great coloured and textured building to photograph. thank you for taking the time to look. chemistry class elvis costello

An attempt at this week's Macro Mondays theme, Flame. I wanted to simulate the look of a Bunsen burner. I was not able to find a macro composition within the size constraints that i liked.
Propane utility torch, Erlenmeyer flask.
Speedlight with narrow grid and yellow gel, directed at flask.
WARNING: Do not attempt this at home. The flame is in front of the flask - a wire guaze mat must be placed under the flask for direct heating.
