Something I should never do--cheesecake at The Cheesecake Factory! Oh, my goodness! Rich, sweet, too big & I ate it all! Celebrating my younger son's birthday on January 31, 2016 in Albany, New York, USA. I had the Lemon Merigue Cheesecake. Time to get back on the treadmill!

Well, so kind of Cheesecake Factory to list the calorie count of all their items. It did make me choose but not a hard choice because I really don't like cheesecake, even these amazing ones.
Pasta Carbonara is my favorite meal at this restaurant and when Kerri comes we both order this. I brought home enough for 2 more meals and didn't look at the little calorie count on the menu.
It had been ages since she had tried cheesecake, and for some reason decided she did not like it. Recently, I had earned a gift certificate to the Cheesecake Factory thanks to a photo that made it in the local electric co-op paper, so we treated ourselves.
She was an instant fan and found a new love with cheesecake.
This past summer, my 2 sons and I went to this restaurant The Cheese Cake Factory for about 6-7 times for lunch while the wife was at work. It's a fav restaurant for the kids because they like to get their usual chicken fingers and fries. For me, I don't eat much... Just a slice of their many wonderful cheese cakes would do :) And by the way, their appetizer breads ain't bad either.

So in case you haven't noticed, I really enjoy photographing the South Side Works in Pittsburgh! It is so bright and vibrant, and it's just a fun place to be! This is looking down the walkway at the Puma Store, and you can see a jewlery store on the left as well.
I chose this quote as I was inspired by abennett23 aka Anthony who had a great piece and commentary on SOOC vs. post processed images. In my mind, we are all artists, it's just that the world is our subject, our cameras are our canvases, and we are the painters. I create images the same way that painters do: using my imagination. There are thousands, if not millions of fantastic photographers out there who can capture a scene exactly as it appears in front of them and do it beautifully. I'm sure many of us could if we spent the time to learn. However, I choose to take a scene and make it my own, to show you the way that I see it in my mind.
Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against SOOC or untouched images. I just choose to "connect the dots in my own way", as Calvin from Calvin and Hobbes put it.

I'm not sure why we do this piecing thing, I only assume it's to pass the time until better things can be done. Especially on days like today when everything didn't go according to plan, it's reassuring to know that turds can be polished.
I hate fusion food, it's a culinary abomination. Restaurants like "Cheese Cake Factory" and "California Pizza Kitchen" can eat a veiny one. No one like's "Cold Wasabi Sesame Tai Noodles" except sheltered soccer moms from the suburbs. I personally would opt for the "Awesome Blossom" which is awesome but not fusion.
Today we made "Fusion"....not sure what sort of fusion? Lot's of Free Jazz and staring at the sun. It's great to have friends that know when to say when....thanks Jimbo and Soem!

This is my first test shot of the low light capability of Pixel 2 XL with its HDR+ function. It looks very good, thanks to its fast aperture lens and computational noise reduction algorithm.

This is right along the river, right across the from PNC Park. They were filming a movie with Russell Crowe that morning, and I really wanted to go and get some shots inside the stadium, as it is open during the day, but they wouldn't allow anybody to even WALK across the Roberto Clemente Bridge!
However, while I was standing there with my camera backpack, huge tripod and camera, a guy came up to me and said "So where exactly is Russell Crowe?" I respond, "Not too sure." He says, "Well, even if they told you, you wouldn't be allowed to tell me huh? Have you got to meet him? Nice guy?" I respond, "You know, we really can't talk about it! while they are still filming, but don't believe everything you hear about him" We then proceeded to make more small talk about the movie (which I knew NOTHING about, haha) for another 5 minutes or so.
I know, I know, it was wrong of me to impersonate someone of moderate importance who may have been associated with a major motion picture, but I just couldn't resist!

20 Minutes after sunset at mother's beach. HDR generated from 8 exposures in photomatix that were organized in Lightroom. Final editing in Photoshop. Orton filter I made in filter forge applied as the last step. If you have filter forge this filter is Misty and Mike's Orton under photo.

Beside the potential sixth-anchor entrance at Fair Oaks, The Cheesecake Factory opened a restaurant here on November 20, 2006.
While in Buffalo, we stopped off at the Cheesecake Factory. This was my second time ever eating here. Even though I was disappointed with my dinner, I really enjoyed Chris Outrageous Cheesecake for dessert. After the first two bites, though I was pretty much overdosed on sugar.
