Gather some persimmons foliage in different shades of pink and red. I think they're cheerful to look at.
A red Chevy Camaro convertible, going cheap! I just had to have it!

A forced perspective shot of my latest 1/18th scale 1967 Chevrolet Camaro SS 396 convertible with the backdrop of another section of our village bird pond area.
This model was lying unloved and unwanted in what was effectively a bargain bin at a local auto accessory shop. Upside down, under a pile of other gear, I rescued it, paid the bargain price being asked and gave it a new home. The model is from the cheap and cheerful end of the scale model market, but is very well detailed in most areas, but less so in others. The radio antenna was 2mm thick on the model, so would have translated to a whopping 36mm at full scale. That had to go! But conversely, it has a beautifully detailed engine bay and fully operational suspension! Most importantly, it's red, has shiny chrome wheels and it's a convertible. A perfect day to show it off too!
This portrait of a nomadic Armenian farmer reflects the nature of these people. They have a tough life, living high up in the mountains tending their herds of cattle, sheep and goats. A few horses seem to be a staple possession as does an old army truck or Lada. As well as family their companions are these huge working dogs. No doubt they are used to coral their stock as well as keeping guard.

Built in 1230, the Schwalbennest ruin is the youngest of the four castles in our small town. Its actual name is "Schadeck", but since it seems to be clinging to a steep mountainside, above a rock face high above the Neckar, people here like to call it "Schwalbennest" (= "swallow's nest").

Wish I could share the sweet fragrance with you, such an important part of the charm of these lovely little double spring flowers...
Cheerful Yellow Daffodils by a fence , their brightness contrasting against the sturdiness of the fence. Together, they create a scene of balance—soft nature meeting structured human design.
Yellow is a happy color and even more so with flowers. This is a “Cheerful Yellow Statement” as you can see. Flowers convey happiness wham we receive them. Gardens are full of color for sure. Yellow Flowers stand out so much they’re in a class of their. Thanks for viewing my photos.

I indulged in some bloom therapy after work on a rare sunny and warmish afternoon. Sunshine and spring have been elusive this year here in Minnesota. Seeing these cheerfully vibrant crocus blooms soothed my agitated soul.
