This checklist would have given step by step instructions to the Apollo 13 astronauts as they prepared to explore the lunar surface. However, plans for a Moon landing were abandoned after an explosion in the service module. Had the mission gone as planned, this checklist would have bene discarded on the Moon. Instead it was signed by all three crewmembers and given to Scott Millicon, the author of the checklist as a "thank you" for his support.
Space Center Houston is the official visitor center of NASA Johnson Space Center and a Smithsonian Affiliate Museum owned and operated by the nonprofit Manned Spaceflight Education Foundation. The center opened in 1992 and hosts more than 1 million visitors annually in its 250,000-square-foot educational complex with over 400 space artifacts, permanent and traveling exhibits, attractions, live shows and theaters dedicated to preserving the history of America's human spaceflight program.
The Lyndon B. Johnson Space Center (JSC) is the National Aeronautics and Space Administration's Manned Spacecraft Center, where human spaceflight training, research, and flight control are conducted. Construction of the center, designed by Charles Luckman, began in 1962 and the 1,620-acre facility officially opened for business in September 1963. The center is home to NASA's astronaut corps, and is responsible for training astronauts from both the U.S. and its international partners. It has become popularly known for its flight control function, identified as "Mission Control" during the Gemini, Apollo, Skylab, Apollo–Soyuz, and Space Shuttle program flights. It is also the site of the former Lunar Receiving Laboratory, where the first astronauts returning from the Moon were quarantined, and where the majority of lunar samples are stored.
I’ve decided to build a plane! All this sitting on trains for hours and hours to get somewhere is silly when you can cover lots more distance just flying through the air. So I got out some paper and wrote down all the things I would need to make a plane. I think it’s going to be quite easy, I wonder why not everyone makes one.

The morning light stream into the premises of the former Grand Rapids Brewing company in city center. Now it is a popular meeting place and restaurant that is doing its best to continue business operations. The Michigan governor's orders closed eating places and most other retail businesses as part of the "stay home, stay safe" quarantine response to Covid-19 risks of transmission and overwhelming the health system. Middle June the food places and other selected other types of business were allowed to serve food indoors at reduced seating capacity, by using face masks, and seating patrons 6 feet from each other or more. Out door seating allows more capacity, while still following the physical spacing of diners.
On the wall of the pick-up booth for food orders made by phone or online, there is a page with checklists for staff to do and with reminders regarding the customers (guests), too.

Seymeria cassioides
This is a bushy plant that blooms in the fall. The flowers are quite small, but as you can see in a later picture, quite attractive. There are two species of seymaria and they are both parasitic on the roots of southern pine trees. The leaves of this species are thread-like and the flowers smooth. In the other species, S. pectinata, the leaves are a bit larger and the flowers are quite hairy; it also grows in dry, sandy sites.

Here is a checklist of home fire safety precautions that you should follow.
A Working Smoke Alarm
If you already have a smoke alarm, you should make sure that it is in working order so that it can quickly alert you if smoke from a fire is detected. A working smoke detector should be able to send out a loud signal that will notify the occupants in your home of a fire that might not yet be noticeable. The batteries in your alarm may need to be replaced, so it is important to test the batteries to determine their power levels. Safe Bee recommends having smoke alarms inside and outside of every sleeping area as well is in your basement and attic.
Fire Extinguishers
A single fire extinguisher may be sufficient, but you might need multiple extinguishers if you live in a large home. Any old extinguishers should be checked regularly to see if they are past their expiration date and need replacing. If a fire is small enough to put out with an extinguisher, Fire Extinguisher: 101 suggests standing several feet away with your back to an exit. Once the fire has been reduced to a smaller size, you can then move closer to finish extinguishing it.
Have Heating Equipment Inspected
Before turning on your indoor heaters for the cold season, have them inspected to make sure that there aren’t any mechanical malfunctions that could cause a fire. A dirty heating system can also be a fire hazard, so it’s important to clean yours before using it for the season.
Have Your Chimney Cleaned and Inspected
Australia Fire Protection guidelines stress the importance of having your chimney cleaned and inspected before lighting fires to warm your home in the autumn and winter. A dirty chimney could be clogged with soot and other debris that could catch fire. A damaged chimney can pose an additional fire hazard.
Check Wiring and Plugins
According to Sparky.org, the wiring and plugins that are needed to power your electronic devices could cause fires to break out if they are faulty. Any frayed wires that you notice should be replaced immediately. You can also hire an electrician to come to your home periodically to inspect your wiring and other components of your electrical system to identify any problems.
An Escape Plan
You will additionally want to have an escape plan in place if you and your family need to evacuate the home. As FEMA states, you should try to find two different ways to escape each room. The importance of crawling to avoid harmful smoke inhalation should also be emphasised.
Making fire safety a top priority can help you keep your home and family better intact in the event of an emergency. You will have a better chance of staying out of harm’s way be following these tips.
