UPDATE: Chassis #475 is a little more significant after reading this article... Yes, this is the punchlist for Emma, the car prepared as Dale Jr.'s primary race car for the Daytona 500! Having already collected a victory in the qualifying race, Emma and Dale Jr. started on the inside of the second row for the Daytona 500 and ended with a 9th place finish.

Distinctive crow with an ashy gray body and contrasting black head, wings, and tail. Essentially unmistakable unless seen in poor light or at a distance. Birds average paler in eastern parts of range, with “Mesopotamian Crow” of Iraq and southwestern Iran being almost black-and-white. Found in varied open and semiopen habitats from towns and farmland to open woodland and moorland. Found in pairs or small groups, not usually in large flocks except at roosts. Hybridizes with Carrion Crow where the two overlap. Gives typical crow caws, often indistinguishable from those of Carrion Crow.

Possivelmente 5 inds, pois observados em sítios distintos e pelo que consegui comparar da plumagem em voo, o da 1ª foto não seria nenhum dos 4, na foto em comentários.

Opius is the largest genus in Opiinæ (39 gg, 2,061 spp), recognized primarily by asymmetrical (excluding ventrobasal carina) more or less abruptly widened mandibles. Solitary koinobiont ovilarval endoparasitoid of Agromyzidæ, Anthomyiidæ, Drosophilidæ, Tephritidæ, Ephydridæ, Cecidomyiidæ; emergence of imago from host puparium. This specimen belongs to the plausibly nonmonophyletic taxon Phædrotoma, often treated as Opius sg or as distinct genus, without widened mandible base. After several hours using different keys it couldn't be identified up to sp level; it is likely a species nova to be described in upcoming revisions. Even in M. Fischer NHMW collection, 3 different spp may be present under 1 common sp; selected references give an impression about direction to revise this genus. Opius exiguus is very common but also a waste bin taxon to some degree. Compared to this specimen, it has different mesosoma (pronope, no medioposterior mesoscutal depression), leg colour, shape of venation and 1st tergite.

I’ve decided to build a plane! All this sitting on trains for hours and hours to get somewhere is silly when you can cover lots more distance just flying through the air. So I got out some paper and wrote down all the things I would need to make a plane. I think it’s going to be quite easy, I wonder why not everyone makes one.

The morning light stream into the premises of the former Grand Rapids Brewing company in city center. Now it is a popular meeting place and restaurant that is doing its best to continue business operations. The Michigan governor's orders closed eating places and most other retail businesses as part of the "stay home, stay safe" quarantine response to Covid-19 risks of transmission and overwhelming the health system. Middle June the food places and other selected other types of business were allowed to serve food indoors at reduced seating capacity, by using face masks, and seating patrons 6 feet from each other or more. Out door seating allows more capacity, while still following the physical spacing of diners.
On the wall of the pick-up booth for food orders made by phone or online, there is a page with checklists for staff to do and with reminders regarding the customers (guests), too.

At my second job, driving cars to the garage, we now have to fill out forms about each car's condition and driveability. Meh.
