Hans is a great guitarist and his vocal range is reminiscent
of an amalgam of Michael Franks, Kenny Rankin and Sting .
Hans has a body of experience in music that is extensive , and well documented, he's one of those players who crosses genre lines incorporating elements, from one to another with an enviable ease .
His travel journals are very easily digestible and entertaining like his music,
and, man, can he play & sing.
American Visionary Art Museum, Baltimore MD ~
The nice man at the front desk cautioned that I was not permitted to bring my camera into the museum. Even so, we both lost track of the camera hand-over and I realized moments later, inside, it was still hanging from my shoulder. I was thrilled (initially) then hit with the moral ambiguity/responsibility (later). I did not photograph the exhibits. I did take this one picture, these words which hung over the entrance to the bathrooms. On either side of the entrances to the women's (left) and men's (right) bathrooms there stood two carnival funhouse mirrors. Near as I could tell there was no way to avoid glancing at oneself in either one distorted mirror or the other on the way in/out. I loved that (except the fact that my breasts appeared to hang where my knees should regularly be and then, in trying to funhouse-correct I turned my head into something elephantetic... but maybe even that part was superb).

This fella has its catch clutched firmly in both claws - difficult to see what it's caught. Strong winds today and the kites were moving rapidly on the wind. Here it has slowed and glided directly above to check us out.

So hi!
Let's take a little stroll down memory lane.
I'm on the left. Standing on the ground.
That short thing on my right is my best friend, K. She's ON A CHAIR. WEARING HEELS.
High school graduation. Aren't we cute? We're adorable. It's all downhill from there. Wish we'd known that then.
Anyway -- I love her. She's awesome.
And because you love me and you want to know how awesome she is, you need to head over and
Check Her Out 'cause I've convinced her to take a selfie for 30 consecutive days and so far she's doing a Mighty Fabulous Job.
Go give her some love, k?
