Looking down at the sheer-walled canyons, cut deep into sandstone and gneiss/schist granite rock formations, from an overlook of Colorado National Monument as the sun was setting.

Durga Puja is one of the Hindu festivals of India, which is celebrated massively all over India. We celebrate Durga Puja in autumn. We worship Goddess Durga, who killed Mahishasura, symbolizing victory over evil. Goddess Durga is worshipped for three days, and on the fourth day, we immerse her in the rivers.

Do you have a landscape shot you keep coming back to as you know you can improve on it? This view at the end of Loch Morlich near Aviemore looking onto the Cairngorms is one of mine.
This is the third time I have shot this view. My first time at sun set and my first from in the river with the waiders on. It was clear from this visit the view would suit a stronger summer sunset with more light on the back hills. Also I think lower water would lead to more turbulent water in the foreground which would be a better foreground.
That said it's not a bad shot and continues the learning process. Being in the water was defo a much better composition as from the bank trees overhand the best view point and you don't get right enough to balance the shot.
Golden hues, a masterpiece in whole,
Painted skies, a tranquil, fiery scroll.
Nature’s brushstroke, vivid and untold,
A fleeting wonder, a treasure of gold.
The sun sinks low, its journey near done,
Casting its glow on everyone.
Shadows lengthen, they softly creep,
As twilight lulls the world to sleep.
Mountains bask in the amber light,
Fields are kissed by the glow of night.
Rivers shimmer, their currents ablaze,
Reflecting the heavens in a fiery haze.
The trees stand still, their silhouettes clear,
Bathed in warmth as the end draws near.
Birdsong fades, replaced by calm,
A hush that feels like nature's psalm.
Golden hour, brief and rare,
A sacred gift for those who care.
To pause, to watch, to truly see,
The magic of life, so wild and free.
And as the sun slips out of view,
Night emerges, cloaked in dew.
But the memory lingers, the moment stays,
A radiant echo of golden days.

Golden goodbyes at Poda Island.
As the sun dipped into the Andaman, the sky wore its finest gold —
a quiet masterpiece only nature could paint.
