To announce the broadcast beggining of the Fox Channel series, the guerrilla marketing agency Torke Stunt, created a giant agenda in Lisbon.
Comacchio is a little town close to the delta of the Po river. It is crossed by water channels, which make it look like a little Venice.
The new river channel is clearly visible running through the centre of this image, with the old, blocked channel visible on the right.
The South Channel Range Lights in Lake St. Clair (Michigan) were constructed between 1855 and 1859 to help ships navigate through the St. Clair Flats. This is an important part of the trip between Port Huron and Detroit. The lights were seen on two July 12, 2014 Summer Discovery Cruises from Michigan Sea Grant. These were the 10am Lighthouses of Lake St. Clair & 2pm History of Lake St Clair. The earlier cruise was hazier. There were also many Common Terns that were living by the front range light (the shorter one). The lights are being restored by the SOSCLA (Save Our South Channel Lights Association - www.soschannellights.org/). The cruise was lots of fun!
This where the roof panel and side of the car sheet metal meet and are crimped. A previous owner smeared some body filler in this crevice and it started cracking, so out it goes!
