This was our "Change the World" event...a "FREE GARAGE SALE!"
Attached are some pics of the event...it was so well received. We met lot a
really great people. We had twelve long tables that were "FULL" of items
donated by Church Members and friends...plus larger items in the middle of
the tables on the ground. People could not believe it was free...they tried
to give us money, but we told them this was our gift to the community, and
told them about the "Change the World" project. Most of the people that came
really benefitted from the project; you could tell they really needed the
items...we'll do this again. We even met some people that work construction
on the new ExxonMobil project in Hawkins that wanted to donate items to the
sale...we'll catch them on our next sale. BLESSINGS, BLESSINGS, BLESSINGS!
It was cold and windy, but a great day. We had two small boxes of items
leftover...which we took to Hawkins Helping Hand.
Thank you,

Strong problem-solving skills, good communication skills and passion for excellence are required. The best candidates will hold a B.S. or higher in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, have strong C/C++ skills and can look back on a solid record of developing, debugging and shipping software. Volunteers stand without shoes on a milk crate for a few minutes to get a sense of the suffering that battery hens and other factory farmed animals endure. These participants laugh with relief when they're able to step down.
