Avoid the annoyance, maintain social distancing. This Canada Goose wasn't too happy when the Osprey ventured too close after catching a fish from the pond. This is the sort of muttering others may make if you happen to come too close during your outdoor walk.
Change is coming, this sadness isn't forever:

The way a crow
Shook down on me
The dust of snow
From a hemlock tree
Has given my heart
A change of mood
And saved some part
Of a day I had rued

Here in Colorado Springs we get all the 4 seasons, sometimes all in one day! Two days ago it snowed and temps were in the single digits. Today it was sunny and in the 50's.
Kish Island, Iran
The Greek Ship is the nickname of a cargo steamship, Khoula F, that has been beached on the southwest coast of Kish Island, Iran, since 1966. She was built in Britain by William Hamilton and Company in Port Glasgow, Scotland, who launched her on 9 March 1943 as Empire Trumpet and completed her in April 1943. From 1946 to 1966 she passed through a series of British and Iranian owners and various changes of name. Her final owners were Greek, and it is from them that she derives her nickname.
In kish Island, the ship attracts tourists who come to view her at sunset.

It is a maple that is starting to change color.
The maples on the lakeside are already beautifully colored.

Summer is gone, Autumn has come. Leaves changing their colours and they will fall on the ground soon...
Macro Mondays - theme: "Equinox"
One of my favorite features of Fall colors is constant change - at least until all the leaves are down. In this particular spot, it was mostly orange, which, despite the overcast sky, gave the scene a lovely warm light.

Climate change is a provable "fact"!!!

We went back to try and shoot some more of Change Creek Falls. We were successful in getting to a spot where we could get a good view of this part of the waterfall. According to the Northwest Waterfall Survey, the falls drop a total of 345 feet in nine tiers. This is one of the lower tiers.
(101/366) I brought back 2 more stones from the Hook peninsula in Wexford to add to my collection of "lucky stones" on the mantelpiece (the flat yellow one left of centre & the purple one behind it). I've 24 in total now, all from beaches in Ireland. They don't seem to be bringing me much good luck lately but hopefully that will change soon & a new buyer for our house will come along. Thank you for your kind visit. Have a wonderful and beautiful day! xo💜💜 💕💕💕
Sunset on Lake Quannapowitt happened quickly with fast moving clouds and lighting. The setting sun on these golden branches made them appear red.
