Eight years ago today I was in Duncan on Vancouver Island with my sister. This charming chair was in the smoker's pit behind a restaurant.
A great chair at a winery from a few years ago. Makes me want to be sitting outside on a summer's day and be rocking away.
I know we're supposed to keep our socializing to a minimum but I thought this was taking things to an extreme.

After years of working and supporting people these chairs finally retired and are waiting to go on a trip.
Today we went to Polesden Lacey and I found a few more lone chairs to add to my National Trust chair project.
Taken in a shop at the antique market in Aberfoyle, Ontario. The ceiling was full of hanging chairs. I grunged up the shot a bit with layers of texture.

My children's school holds its anual Charter Day Service at Bristol Cathedral. My children are therefore 'forced' to sit on these chairs for a couple of hours every year, sporting a daffodil in their lapel. I wonder what they think about. And I wonder if they will appreciate the beauty that they have witnessed in years to come, (because I know they don't now!)

Buckarooken got this new reading chair from santa this year. It is especially intended for the rumpus room in the basement. Of course it is too big to fit down the stairs. No matter, Buckarooken is determined, as he wants his chair by the fire downstairs. Drywall is a flying and the saws are coming out. we are a very determined sort of couple. haha. I'll take some photos of the destruction when it reaches it's worst.
