An empty chair inside the Taubanesentrale. There were great views out the windows.
The building was used to route the coal from the various mines down to the port. It stopped operating in the 1980s and was abandoned for years, but now it’s been renovated and opens as a kind of museum. Though it definitely feels like they just left a lot of stuff lying around, in a good way!

The viktoria view and the king's chair are probably the most famous and highest rocks on Rügen. A hike there is not only worthwhile because of that. UNESCO ennobled the quaint old beech forests in the heart of the national park as a world heritage.
I used this moment of the brief “calmer sea” for this photo. Water is one of my favorite models. I have always found the diverse representation from roaring to still and the respective reflections exciting and fascinating at the same time.

In chairs on the beach, they sit and stare,
As the sun descends, painting the air.
A peaceful end to a day of fun,
Chasing the last of the setting sun.
As a composer and as a musician I'm a true believer - and this is not to be overly diplomatic - I'm a believer that there's artistry in everything from a lawn gnome to a desk chair to a symphony to an Andy Warhol painting. There's art in absolutely everything. Darren Criss
This chair is probably 70 years old, it was my parents' from before I was born. I carried it around forever. I brush painted it dark green over 25 years ago, and it lasted pretty well. (Oil paint, we're using oil primer and paint again. Power spray painting this time). Bill powerwashed and then power iron brush ground the surface, and revealed all these lovely layers of paint. It was aqua/ seafoamy green when I was a child. I've never seen the yellow, probably came that way new.
Chair for sale at Dermot Kehoe's Hardware store. It looks comfy & I quite liked the eye-catching pattern, but I didn't buy it HTT!

William’s Practice involves beading everyday objects. With this work, he explores the ideas around trespassing as he subtly critiques rights of land. These camping chairs – created by many hands and thousands of glass beads – are set on river rocks that acknowledge the waterways and shorelines that run through Turtle Island. He raises the questions: “Who is claiming ownership of these lands?”
