The Disney Stores gave this 'Best Of Show' certificate as a free giveaway years ago; I think when 'Lady & the Tramp' was released on DVD for the first time. If you didn't get one for your favorite four-legged friend, print this one off make your pets day extra special!

The School Certificate awarded in 1931 to the 16yo Trinidad pianist Winifred Atwell (actually Una Winifred Atwell) nicknamed 'Winnie'.(1914-1983).. The School Certificate was awarded for the examination held at the Port of Spain under the supervision of the University of Cambridge.
Winnie, the daughter of a Trinidad pharmacist family, showed early musical abilities in classical piano and undertook the exams of the Royal Academy of Music and The Trinity College of Music, London. Despite her musical abilities, her parents ensured she had a fall-back occupation as an Assistant Druggist, qualifying at 23 years of age.
As a teenager she performed to much applause in Trinidad, then later in the United States and then moved to Britain, where her career really took off, not as a classical musician, but as a jazz musician, demonstrating her 'honky-tonk' or 'ragtime' style.
She had her own TV shows: 'The Winifred Atwell Show' and others in the 1950s and 1960s and was for a period the biggest selling pianist in the world.
Her signature tune was the 'Black and White Rag'
She retired to Australia, where she was always immensly popular, and even after suffering a stroke in later years, continued to play the organ in her local Catholic church in Sydney.
2014 is Winnie's centenary year. She was born 27th April, 1914 at Tunapuna in Trinidad.

I really like to take photos of box certificates on cardboard boxes. It is the metadata of the container, indicating important information. I also like circular things, so that helps. I even have an album of Box Certificates. It even shows the country of origin, another obsession.

At one time I was a distributor for 'Nu Skin' make-up and skin-care. The products were absolutely fabulous - but very expensive! The products were produced in Utah in the United States of America.
