Mimicking elegant Italian marble, this porcelain tile series cost a fraction of the price, but still features quality and durability. Offered in neutral colors, as well as stark whites and blacks, the product can additionally be used in countertops.

Tiles arrived today so I practiced nipping the petals for a sunflower. I think I like this design better than the ones I previously posted. What do you think? The center is the bottom of a soup plate. Unfortunately I'm going to have to cut it into a few pieces so it will lay flat. Can you tell I'm getting anxious to get started with the mosaicing???

Well I've made significant progress on this mosaic. I've completed both edges and have nearly done the central Yin Yang feature. I've added pebbles to the corners of the steps for various reasons. One being they were a little uneven and it just seemed a good way of covering a difficult area. The whole thing will still need grouting and the tiles thoroughly cleaning before this is considered complete. Ahhhh, and to think I've got another 5 or more steps to do yet...
