Some asked to see this as a primary image when it was a secondary on the life-cycle mosaic, so here it is. Have a lovely Sunday.

Our next door neighbor has a lovely clematis vine that is currently covered in at least 50 flowers. Here's a close up of the center of those beauties.

Belpre Industrial Parkersburg Railroad is cruising south on Harmar Street in Marietta, Ohio. Although it's just about peak time for the color change of leaves in this 2021 photo, little is to be shown and it was more like a summer afternoon!

This place was really a fun walk through. I found the best way to view the butterflies was to just find a place to sit because the butterflies were constantly moving.

There was a booth where one could purchase a butterfly for $50 but it had to be released in their rainforest. I Know! That is a lot of money for a 2 minute rush but I saw a lot of parents buying them for the kids.

The Houston Museum of Natural Science was in the same building but we didn't want to spend the money to see dinosaur bones ..;) I saw the one in Austin, Texas and that's enough for me.. :)

Here's some information from their page

Walk through a living butterfly habitat, marvel at spectacular live and preserved specimens of some of the world’s largest and weirdest arthropods, and enjoy interactive games and quizzes. The Cockrell Butterfly Center is well known for its immersive walk-through butterfly habitat, but there is much more to explore in the world of bugs! Visit the exhibits surrounding the rainforest conservatory for an in-depth look at arthropods.

Tried an idea of creating a 50/50 blend of Sharp and smooth detail , minimalism was the target outcome .

And beauty can be more permanent than the flying spark of pleasure, soon to extinguish. Something is beautiful when it is true and good: untruth can never be beautiful, and wickedness can never be beautiful.

In times like these we all need to earn to stay centered and watch our lifestyle and choices to stay healthy. We have been very lucky in our Atlantic Canada area to be practically virus free, but I am not naĂŻve enough to believe it will stay that way forever. So take good care everyone!!

Merton had come to believe—that is, to experience and trust—that at the base of all reality is the wisdom of Love, Sophia, a wisdom which deepens whenever we truly love another person. By our love we can unite ourselves to one another, even the stranger and enemy, in the very life of God. While utterly free, gratuitous, and unexpected—“As if from her hand had come a new life”—Wisdom’s embrace is also felt as a remembering, an awakening from sleep, a kind of homecoming or rediscovery of one’s true self held in the loving mercy of God. Once Merton woke up, that is, once he surrendered to this merciful love for himself, he could no longer regard any encounter with the world as “just an episode.” At home in her presence, the world had become for him an epiphany of God.

The Warner Local waits in the Rio Tinto interchange yard while the ISCLB 01 blasts by on Main 2 at Center Garfield, Utah on Oct. 1, 2015. In an interesting twist, the ISCLB (Intermodal, Salt Lake City-Long Beach) train was upgraded to Z-train status when Precision Scheduled Railroading was adopted in 2019.

This female blue dasher is perched upon a stake in the garden at the farm, and was kind enough not to move while I got this shot lined up just right. That's a rose in the background.
