1. I am thankful I publish these every week because being and feeling thankful tends to cause me to notice more things .. especially minutes after I hit the publish button! :)
2. I am thankful for Zomboy’s human silhouettes. This One Love is my favourite.
3. I am thankful and relieved for Flickr’s Block user feature because I invoked it and feel safer! :) FORCE FIELD of safety, comfort and good intentions! :)
4. I am thankful for Eleven who has approximately a bazillion wonderful things blooming in her life! YAY for a bazillion wonderful bloomings! I dunno about you but I heart it when lovely, warm hearted people create lovely and fun things in their lives! :)
5. I am thankful that Eleven and some other folks in my life know what I am talking about when I talk about blanket forts! :)
6. I am thankful for having the super power of being able to scan things to pick out the useful parts and just let the other stuff slide off or stay where it was. I think I am thankful for being asked specifically what my super powers are because it is good to think about these things.
7. I am thankful for my reality because it is a heck of a lot of fun! There is much wonder and magic happening here! Oh yeah, there is also silly dancing, singing and laughing. :)
8. I am thankful I finally sat and read Chris Guillibeau’s The Tower because it made me think about towers and my own interaction with towers. Perspective is fascinating and useful. :)
9. I am thankful for Reese Spykerman because she designs/creates ebooks and websites that are more accessible to me and other folks that are more auditory learners.
10. I am thankful for asking The Momster more about her first fun visit to Victoria, BC. She had such a great time with my brother-in-law and his wife. tee hee. This is also very exciting because she is now gwishualizing visiting eastern Canada. I bet she will love it, especially Nova Scotia. I am also thankful I enjoyed the afternoon with the Momster .. it was nice to have a few hours to leisurely enjoy lunch and then do errands. I asked her when we could go photographing together again. We always find the most fascinating things to photograph and interestingly enough we don’t seem to see the “No Trespassing” sign until we are ready to leave! :)
11. I am thankful The Momster was getting a battery from the Battery Depot because it gave me a chance to recycle some batteries I’ve had tucked away to recycle for years! I liked that within seconds of walking in a friendly, knowledgeable guy helped her get exactly what she needed and I got to take photos of the lovely plants hanging in the front window and have a delightful chat about plants with a guy on his break! YAY for good and fun service! :) YAY Battery Depot!! :) Definitely YAY for recycling old batteries! :)
Thank you for you. Love you and your loving ones.
The Cellular Jail, also known as Kālā Pānī (Hindi: काला पानी क़ैद ख़ाना, literally 'black water', in the sense of deep sea and hence exile), was a colonial prison situated in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, India. The prison was used by the British especially to exile political prisoners to the remote archipelago. Many notable freedom fighters such as Batukeshwar Dutt and Veer Savarkar, among others, were imprisoned here during the struggle for India's independence. Today, the complex serves as a national memorial monument.

Checking new and old DJ's recently...
Stopped in to say hi to DJ Renanyoy over at Divaz Lounge. I run into Ren everywhere. We met a long time ago over at Organica last year and was one of the very few DJ's who welcomed me as a total noob on the music scene. TY Renanyoy!
I saw quite a few people there at Divaz, too and stayed for Alicedea's set. Both her and Jara are DJ's here and they have their own club.
Xavier and I went over to Organica for a DJ Alexi's set. Both of us enjoy her presentations... her's is a performance always... taking us on a goa journey beyond time... so surreal, so ethereal...
I also stopped in to say hi to one of my very favorite DJ's, Zap Hax. He is part of a partnership on a new club called ACTVY. Check it out peeps; and check the video art!
Old friends over at Milky Way sim were calling. So I went over to say hi to the boss-man IPR360 who was spinning some tracks at the Warehouse. Wow! It is kinda rare to hear him spin. Cool tracks always from IPR365.
Then a final stop over at Dance Island... I heard DJ Roxette Mabellon was spinning! OMG! Rox! She owns Dance Island... where does she have the time to spin? 100 people were there vying for a spot on the dance floor. EVERYONE came out to hear her spin!
And then later on, I went back to Divaz for DJ Digital Francis set. I couldn't stay long, but Digi always has a fun set... always puts a part of himself in the spins themselves.
Ahhhh... the DJ's. I admit it. I am a major fan of the DJ's here in SL. Can't help it... 'cause they are the party makers... without them, no party, no event and no happy times for me! Wooot! Peace out!
Sycamore leaf imaged using a Fujifilm GFX 100 (102 million pixels) and GF 110 mm, f/2 lens (wide open). Magnify this to see cellular-level structural information, even though this amazing lens/camera was focusing from almost three feet away. Phones and tablets receive lower resolution versions of this on Flickr, cells are not resolved. To see individual cells download the full resolution image and look at it at 100%. Each cell is 30-40 µm in diameter.

I went to a Japanese style cafe, Kyo Hayashiya at Aoyama, Tokyo. This is a maskat flavoured green tea.
Tonight's lunar eclipse behind a cell tower in Bombay Beach, California.
This image is a single exposure shot with a DJI Air 3s drone.
The moon was very high in the sky - making it difficult to come up with an interesting composition. I don't like simply shooting the moon heavily zoomed in. I like to have some other object in the foreground. I chose the cell tower as the foreground and this is the result

The Cellular Pillow is an air cleaning system and a pillow which refreshes the air around us during our sleep, just like we would be sleeping in the forest. People desire to be closer to nature and the pillow you sleep with is one of the objects closest to you. The pillow consists of numerous cell containers with aloe cells, which clean bacteria and release oxygen, allowing you to breathe fresh air in your sleep and wake up refreshed and relaxed.

Cell-to-cell communication involves the various stimuli to which plants respond, whether biotic, such as hormones and disease, or abiotic, such as water status, heat, cold, and light.
Throughout their lives, plants and plant cells continually respond to both external and internal signals, which they use to alter their physiology, morphology, and development. The manner in which plants respond to a stimulus is determined by developmental age, previous environmental experience, and internal biological clocks that specify the time of year and time of day.

this little lovely is my new favorite! i've made this cute shape that looks like a peanut or a matryoshka silhouette. i've added little pieces of tubing reminiscent of a mitochondria structure. the piece is all oxidized sterling silver on a chain with clusters of little balls on it in a random pattern.
