claire forgot her cellphone in our nice motel 6 room and after realizing at a very cordial breakfast at the Black Bear Diner we went back and they found her phone and returned it to her in a sanitary plastic bag. very nice.

I saw this tonight piece of graffiti on my way to Soho. (14th Street and Avenue A, specifically.) There's also another one by the Broadway/Lafayette subway stop.
I didn't see the artist's name and was hoping the Flickr/Tumblr hivemind might know. Any takers? Solved! The artist is called Spazmat.
This is the "litter in the ailes" segment that plays before each movie at the Byrd Theatre.
Explation of the movie:
The voiceover says in a deep curdling tone while a dramatic score is played: "Litter, in the ailes, beneath the seats, in the bathroom."
Then, one by one, characters come out to express their disgust. The crowd knows it word for word.
For Richmonders: Car dealer puppet "Mark Downs" makes an appearance.
