Today was a pretty sucky day for instant film shooting. Took out my modified SX-70 to shoot an old box of TIP 680 color and all the images looked, well there was no image. Like it had been exposed? Maybe the chemicals were bad? So when I got home I pulled out an old box of the 600 B&W "poor pods" -- shot off a few images and nothing. Maybe I loaded the camera wrong? They didn't eject right. Then out of frustration I aimed the camera unfocused at a bright object and shot! And this is what I got. Gotta say, best instant image of the day... And in a few days it will look like crap and start to turn orange and crack. Yaaay! I was able to fix my scanner this morning :-D

First day in ages with blue skies and sunshine. Beautiful evening light.
So I therefore have a shot of the light on the ceiling of the bedroom.... Quite a challenge to meter it correctly and I think it's quite pretty.

Ceiling light in the main public foyer. Designed by Viljo Revell who won the international design competition in 1958, Toronto City Hall opened in 1965, replacing old China town which was bulldozed in the 1950's to make space for the building. Like most visionary modern architecture it was quite controversial at the time.

Niche Modern Pharos Hanging Pendant Lights in the living room of the Northwest Peach Farm, designed by Bates Masi Architects, in East Hampton, New York
On May 27 2006, while on a Business Trip to Jupiter, Florida, I visited the Flagler Museum in Palm Beach, Florida. While I was there I Photographed Henry Flagler's Private Railcar, the one he rode on January 22, 1912, the First Day of Service on the Florida East Coast Railway's Key West Extension to Key West in the Florida Keys.
I took these two photos as I walked through Henry Flagler's Business and they show the inside of FEC Railcar number 91. Unfortunately, because of the mirrors on the desk and the lighting conditions within the Railcar, my photograph is shows bright spots in this area and resulting graininess. I was able to tone it down to some extent, however the Photos are less than ideal.
I also photographed the FEC Logo on the floor of the Flagler Kenan Pavilion at the Flagler Museum in Palm Beach. This is the Logo of "The Over-Sea R.R." on the floor of the Pavilion.
