My ceiling fan in Black and white. Being bored can prove to be quite productive

It was a late morning and I was just bored. Laying on the sofa, I looked up and decided to snap a photo of our ceiling fan. I wouldn't have posted it but I thought it was funny - and no dust on the blades!

Luxurious master bathroom offers plenty of room for two with double vanities, lots of drawer storage, tile floor, large whirlpool tub, and separate shower.

Riddle: where can you find a lazy, yet curious photographer?

Answer: on the floor of my apartment, teaching myself to use Shutter Priority mode by shooting the ceiling fan.

Shutter: 1/20 (0.05 sec)

Aperture: f/1.8

I sat and watched the blades on the fan whip around the lights and I wondered if I would ever again whip around with such authority.

This was actually taken while the fan was on - the exposure time must've been just right to capture the shape of the blades.

Sometimes, finding the next photo to make is just a matter of looking up. This time, I shot our ceiling fan at night, trying to capture the motion of the blades.

For the weekly theme: Motion. A large saw shaped ceiling fan inside Troeg's Brewery in Hershey, PA. My hubby and I stopped while out yesterday. Actually, dual motion when you include my slightly unsteady hand :)

A Typical Fluffy pose: first thing in the morning and gazing at the TV! I see he is dressed as a footballer??!!!!

Even this ceiling fan is fancy. It has curved, high-efficiency foils.

active. blog that is.

this should have been my photolog entry for yesterday (january 1 2007).

we got new ceiling fans for the living room and bedroom. nothing profound. i just like them. terrible installation instructions, but we did a pretty good job. they aren't shaking violently or falling down, anyway. about the only useful thing i did on new year's eve and day.
