Brand new 2023 Case G recolour of the Matchbox Porsche Cayenne Turbo which as you can see by the number of posts in recent weeks I bought quite a lot of from France and now here in the UK.
Its not even the best 1/64 new generation Cayenne out there but its probably one of the best detailed and certainly one of the best finished for its low price point.

Porsche is voluntarily halting the sale of some diesel SUVs in the U.S. and Canada after U.S. regulators accused the brand of using software to cheat on emissions tests.
Porsche said Tuesday that it is halting sales of diesel Cayennes from the 2014-2016 model years until further notice. A Porsche spokesman didn’t know how many vehicles were affected.
I'm so done with hot peppers - I almost posted these up for free on our local FB Page. Almost 2 lbs... Decided to make a quick green hot sauce - half the work done today, hope to finish tomorrow.... Green Cayennes, green tomatoes, onions, garlic, vinegar... should be good. Next year the only hot pepper I'm growing is Jalapenos - I find them much more palatable, making them my favourite - least hot, hot pepper 😁
I couldn't resist getting another one of these bold looking Porsche Cayenne Turbo models by Matchbox. This batch of Matchbox cars can still be bought in abundance in a lot of UK discount stores as they get their stock very cheaply from the U.S. Unfortunately a lot of it is plastic tat but there are obviously some gems like this. Just how Matchbox should always be, we cast, well detailed, available and licensed! Mint and boxed.
Porsche built the first generation of the Cayenne from 2002 until 2010. For Porsche an SUV was a totaly new kind of car. It proved to be a great success. This one is a North American specification model. It has a 4.5 litre turbocharged V8 engine with 450 PS.

No surprises at seeing yet another new Matchbox Porsche Cayenne Turbo in the collection, plentiful at Action in France and now plentiful at UK B&M Bargains! ;-p
A genuinely desirable pocket money priced diecast, obviously a bit compromised compared to the Welly and Majorette equivalents but at just 1.29 Euros each I consider it a total bargain.

Attractive looking Police version of the long running Realtoy Porsche Cayenne. Strangely considering their appeal to children, the Realtoy range at Tesco doesnt currently appear to have an emergency vehicles apart from this Porsche. The Crown Vic has gone along with the Nissan Diesel fire engine ladder truck. This Police Porsche actually comes with a trailer and Police bike but that model is so clumsy looking and out of scale I havn't included it in this picture. PS, if by some miracle anyone from Tesco is reading; pleeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaase bring back the FX4 London taxi and Leyland Titan!! ;-)
