Smile on Saturday: Caught in droplets

For Smile on Saturday

Theme for Smile on Saturday is "Caught in Droplets"

Had to use an old photo as no droplets around. May not be as thrilling as some as I don't edit and add things to the droplets. Sorry just boring nature reflection. Happy Day to All 😊

Dear friends, in these hard coronavirus times I wish you all to be healthy, calm responsible and humane!

I worked on this shot for some time and also combined the needle for Macro Mondays. It seemed I could kill two birds with one idea so to speak. The backlight made it tough.

Happy Smile on Saturdays

Thank you for visits, comments and favs!

Vielen Dank für Eure Besuche, Kommentare und Sternchen!

Ooops I was a bit behind on the times and forgot the droplet theme, this old shot will have to work for this weeks theme.

This wild grass forms a lattice type seed pod that dangles in the wind, after rain or dew the drops hang from the edges.

This week's theme of the 'Smile on Saturday' group is 'Caught in Droplets'. My droplet was sitting on a feather and the image caught in it shows the pink kalanchoe which was standing behind it. The most difficult part of the photoshoot was to stop the cats from playing with the feather and ruining my carefully arranged set-up. :)

Here my garden has chosen a nice round drop of water - almost like a fortune teller ball ;-) I hope he is lucky and has a lot of fun on his trip.

Hier hat sich mein Garten einen hübsch runden Wassertropfen ausgesucht – fast wie eine Wahrsagerkugel ;-) Hoffentlich hat er Glück und hat vor allem viel Spaß bei seinem Ausflug.

"Smile on Saturday" - "caught in droplets"

For the theme "Caught in droplets" of the Group "Smile on Saturday"

I'm sorry to offer this photo which wasn't taken by using real refraction techniques. I don't have a macro lens powerful enough to succeed in this challenge.

This photo underwent several treatments, in particular a double exposure and a refraction created using an application.

The result is far from perfect, and I know it...

Thank you in advance for all your comments and faves!

Smile on Saturday: caught in droplets

All I can say is, that given the amount of rain we have had in Feb and in March, it's a shame I couldn't have made a better job than this! But it's a contribution of a few bits of colour ........

I see blue

I feel blue

I long for blue

Blue is my color

The simple touch

can make me spot

the color blue

that reminds me of you

Have a lovely Saturday!

Hope you enjoy my little poem that goes together with my blue toned droplets.

had to go into the archives for this one

The background flowers (and the flowers caught in the droplet) are petunias.

This mini scene measures a little over an inch across. The leaf stems are from a miniature carnation plant. The droplets showed refractions of the other leaves covered in droplets.

Happy Smile on Saturday!

For the Smile on Saturday challenge: "caught in droplets"

A single drop of water reflecting the window and the garden beyond. Too windy this week to capture raindrops outdoors, so it had to be an indoor shot.

HSoS ;o))

Stripes caught in the droplets looking like little humbugs! Thanks for viewing and HSoS 😀

One from my archives, as the wind has been too strong to shoot waterdrops. For Smile on Saturday's theme "CAUGHT IN DROPLETS" - HSoS!

I will never forget this scene. Millions of rain drops glowed on my fence in the setting sun. I only had so much time to take a few photos and the sun went down.

Have a pleasant day and thank you for visiting.

HSoS!

At least it gives me something to shoot for the theme at Smile on Saturday: “Caught in Droplets.”

Honeysuckle leaves after last nights rain in our garden this morning.

HSoS :-)
