A Black-necked Stork (Ephippiorhynchus asiaticus) was framed with a success - a catfish caught in its beak. It was fishing for quite sometimes, scanning every minute area of this part of wetland. I had to wait long for its success and here is the reward for me too. Pics was taken from Bharatpur, Rajasthan, India.

This is my post for this week's 'Happy Caturday' group theme 'Chillin''. I took the photo earlier this week when it was still very warm and Tofu decided that the chill-out zone of the day was behind the house in the shade. The stones and paving there always stay cool, even in summer. As the weather has changed in the meantime, he now prefers his warm cat bed again. :) Happy Caturday !

146th MMM HALLOWEEN Challenge

It was time to move on.

Barred owls have avoided me for the last 5 years in this area but recently one gave away its location while I was hiking and I was able to capture it with my camera. I've only seen this one and one in the Wichita Mountains. So interesting and they never chase me. IYKYK

This swallowtail kept staying so high up that I couldn't get a good shot; finally he came down lower for a drink.

My partner in crime Slayer/Jack Doe and I saw this cake and... Well, clearly we thought of a wedding situation straight away! And no, we didn't actually marry ;)
