Badolato, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy in the province of Catanzaro, is famous for its Holy Saturday procession, which lasts an entire day.
The Holy Saturday procession in Badolato consists of a reenactment of the Passion of Christ with hundreds of participants in costume.
The procession sets off early in the morning from the heart of the hilltop village and continues until late in the evening, winding through narrow alleyways, scenic little squares overlooking the sea, and the surrounding areas, stopping at churches and the most evocative sites of the historic center, such as the Church of the Immaculate Conception and the Convent of the Angels on the opposite hill.
The procession features hundreds of costumed participants dressed as Roman soldiers, flagellants, and Jews, who stage the various moments of the Via Crucis. The Easter rites in Badolato conclude on Sunday morning with the traditional "Cumprùnta".

E é num nÃvel mais profundo, à pessoa como um todo, que é dado o conhecimento. É o seu corpo astral que ensina o homem. Por meio do seu corpo astral o homem comunica com a supraelementrariedade do mundo astral. Astrum é o contexto que denota não só o corpo celestial, mas a virtude ou atividade essencial de qualquer objeto. Isto no entanto não é atingido num estado racional de pensamento, mas sim em sonhos e transes fortificados por força de vontade e imaginação.
